Looking ahead (By:Shinny64)

Is it just me, or is everybody building a suicide black deck? I mean, I used to love playing because everyone had a different deck. Now people either have suicide black, or Oath of Druids decks. Magic has lost some of its flare because there are no new decks. I gets really annoying when everybody brings out the same creatures and spells with the same land. Unless Urza's Saga gives people some new deck ideas, people are going to drop it altogether. The Saga is already irritating people because it butted out Ice Age so it could come. Ice Age was really cool. The only thing I find remotely cool about the Saga is Echo. Sleeping Enchantments that you have to wait 5 turns for them to work!!? Before, you'd be dead while you waited for that. Looking ahead to 6th Edition, it looks good, really good. The only downside there is they are dropping the Wrath and the Disk. And even though that's a very big drawback, you can always use the 5th and 4th and revised editions. One more thing, we need more fatty creatures. Tempest and Stronghold are weenie expansions for creatures. Don't get me wrong , I love Tempest and Stronghold is mediocre, but I just think that creature-wise, everything is weenie. I loved laughing in my opponent's face when I brought out a Djinn, or a Polar Kracken. I hope 6th does something about that.
