On June 27, 1999 I rescued Almond from a friend of mine who saw her in a pet store and thought she was cute, and wanted her as an Easter gift from her mom. Well, that just goes to show that rabbits and Easter DONT mix! When Almond grew up, my friend decided she didn’t want her anymore. She also told me that she was tired of caring for her, and that she was chewing up stuff in her house. (well, duh!) So when my friend called me and asked me if I wanted her, of course I had to say yes. I wasnt planning on keeping Almond, so I put her up for adoption and she was adopted in September of '99.
