Bidirectional
Systems Interfacing Via XML/Text Files and Plex By Lucio Gayosso
(PCSS) (Presented on SouthEast Plex User Group Meeting at CA Offices in
Charlotte, November 15th, 2007). This session presents the creation
of a bidirectional (input/output) data transfer infrastructure between systems
via XML or Text Files with Plex 5.5, Microsoft’s XML-DOM object, VBScript,
and WinXP Scheduling utility. XML/Text files will be used to read data from
remote systems or pass data back to them. A configuration module will determine
the location and format of the input/output files with the alternative to
archive files. Considerations for process automation will be mentioned (due
to space constraints I cannot post here. Send send
me an email to request the file)

be a service Pack for AllFusion Plex 5.5 (mid 2005) that will be back compatible
with this PTF but installations of Plex 5.5 (Version 5.5.0, Build 63.002)
need to have the PTF applied. For additional details check the following EDGE
