"I got ya!" Aaron said as he won the game.
Andy smiled, "You don't sound sick to me anymore, and you kept those crackers down."
"Yeah, but my stomach still hurts."
"Maybe you'll start to feel better in a little bit."
"I don't...." Aaron stopped as he reached for the bowl, it wasn't there. Before Andy could hand it to him he leaned over and threw up in the floor. Aaron moaned and lay down on the couch. Andy got up to get some stuff to clean the floor with.

Nick woke up and glanced at the clock. It was 6:30 and Aaron wasn't in the bed. He didn't think much of it. He thought he was probably in the bathroom, but after several minutes went by and Aaron didn't return, Nick got up to see what he was doing. He checked the bathroom first, no Aaron. Then he started into the living room. He saw the little body on the couch. Nick walked towards him to see what he was doing.
Andy started back into the living room to clean up the mess when she saw Nick walk in. Before she could warn him he stepped in the mess, "What the.... oh SICK!!"
The look on Nick's face was priceless, but Andy tried not to laugh. Nick looked up at her as she walked in. She knelt down and started cleaning up the mess. She laid a paper towel down, "Step on it and wipe off your foot."
Nick did as she said and then asked, "How long has he been sick?"
"He got up around 3." Andy answered as she finsihed cleaning everything up and then went to throw the paper towel away.
When she came back in she heard Nick talking to Aaron, "Hey buddy, you okay?"
"... Yeeaahh..." Aaron said slowly.
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
"'Cause Andy was taking care of me." Aaron mumbled.
"Andy made some noise so that Nick knew she was coming. She leaned over and Aaron and felt his forehead, he was a little warm. She went back into the kitchen to hget the thermometer and came back," Here Aaron, put this in your mouth for a minute."
He did what she asked for and then closed his eyes again, "Would you like some more 7 up?"
Aaron nodded and Andy went to fill his glass again.
Nick just stood there not knowing what to do and finally sat down in the big chair. He watched as Andy came back in, Aaron sat up automatically and Andy sat down and then he lay down across her lap. She took the thermometer out of his mouth and looked at it with the light starting to come in the big glass window. He had only a slight fever. She handed him the glass and he took a dringk. She set down on the coffee table when he was done. She then noticed Nick watching her and gave her a slight smile.
Nick didn't know what to think, he had only met this girl 2 days ago. B.J., Angel, and Leslie took a liking to her instantly, and now his 10-year-old brother was sick and sleeping in her lap. She was still a stranger to him, but she was a pretty and unique stranger.
