'This is it! I'm leaving home.' Faith thought to herself.
She was going to live in America to study. She has always been a good girl. Never disobeyed her parents, never took drugs, never smoked, never drank and she never went to parties. But she was sick of it! She was sick and tired of being a good girl all her life! She loved her parents but she wanted to get out of her house! She wanted to go away. So, she told her parents. After a long talk, they agreed. They were letting her go to Connecticut, for a couple months. And if she could handle it, she could stay there.
"Thank you so much!" Faith said as she hugged her parents, one by one.
"Now, Faith, don't get to excited. You're not there yet!" her mother said.
"I can't help it! I'm so happy!" she said ans she went up to pack.
~*~MEANWHILE IN CONNECTICUT~*~
"Yo, Alex! C'mon! Waz wrong with ya, nigga? You've been acting like this for more than a month now!" Alex's best friend, Nathan said to him. They have been best friends since they were kids and Nathan hated to see Alex like this.
"I'm ok..." Alex said, getting up from the bench he was sitting.
"It's Caitlin right? Are you still upset cause she broke up with ya? If you are, I can beat the shit out her if ya like." Nathan said, half joking. He would do anything for Alex and vice versa.
"No, it's ok."
"But I hate to see you like this, man!"
"Man, I hate it for what she did to me. She was cheating on me all along!" Alex said, getting tears in his eyes.
"You did the same thing you know? With that online girl! Waz her name again? Destiny?" Nathan asked.
"It's Faith! And daz different! She was a girlfriend on the net! It was different with Caitlin! She was someone I can talk to in real life, someone I could hug, someone I could kiss, someone..." Alex explained.
"Hey mushroom! Stop it! The cool Alexander Reyes, is getting mushy!" Nathan joked. Alex laughed at that, "C'mon let's play some ball." he said to Nathan as he picked up the ball.
"Alright!" Nathan got up, "The mushy Alexander Reyes is gone, and the cool one is back ladies and gentlemen!"
~*~BACK IN ESSEX~*~(Essex is in England.)
Faith was done packing and she was heading to the airport. She took both pair of skates, inline skates and ice-skates, and her skateboard as hand luggage.
"I don't know why you have to leave so quickly!" her dad said to her when he was driving.
"Dad, you don't understand! I'm choking here in England!" Faith replied.
"And you don't understand what it's like to see your child leave you!" Her mother said, starting to cry.
"Oh Mom, I'm sorry. I know this must be hurting you, but I have to do it. I'll call you every once and awhile. And I'll write. I'll keep in touch!" Faith put an arm around her mother.
When they got at the airport, not one of them said a word till they got to the gate.
Faith turned around.
"Mom, Dad, I'll miss you." and she hugged them. Without waiting for their response she turned around to get on the plain.
