ADBLOYT ABASHI

When you listen to his music, described as Root Reggae, Dancehall and identically Naggae (Nigerian Reggae), his lyrics and his music are penetrating into the skin.

Born in Nigeria 1968, he was once a teacher, a lithographer and served in the military.

His first album, released in 1990, is entitled, No Black, Nor White Blood but Red", the second, Love Ever War Never" was released in 1991, from then on his inspiration didn't find a moment of rest and he recorded the following songs; This Is My Prayer", Love Is Equal", Survival Is The Game" and, Spirit of Confidence".

Since then he produced himself in the Caribbean, in the United States, in Africa and Europe.

He recorded a duo with Gregory Isaac, known as the ,Cool Ruler" accompany by the drummer Sly Dunbar. Some others known names as Charlies Band, The Wailers, Riddims King and Bottom Lions also performed with him.

Adbloyt Abashi recorded 2 album, 4 CD's and I single.

His style of music is very often compared to the one of Peter Tosh and Burning Spear, but if you ask Adbloyt Abashi to identify his music, he will simply answer you, that he is himself ,One Love".

His last production , Spirit of Confidence", gives the message, that. the one who has patient can cook a stone I Adbloyt Abashi is patient, pure and simple. Some how funny in jokes but warm and friendly.

In another way people say he is one of the toughest guy, cause he never accept negative way of life. For example his own rights can not be deprived.

In his lyrics Adbloyt Abashi expresses ideas like: Can you love someone that hate you ? .... Let there be love not racism .......... No one is important till when you need his/her services ........ How can we trust if no one is satisfied ..... We feed our stomach every day, because we are hungry, what about the soul ? The food of soul is love and happiness.
