- At Cathedral Domain, kevin wrote his first song "As
Time Goes By." Now that he looks back, he thinks the
lyrics sound a bit cheesy.
- While in high school, Brian drove a yellow and orange
Nissan pick-up named 'Bleedin' Banana by his pals.
- At the age of 5, Brian was hospitalized b/c of his
heart condition and missed a year of school. The doctors
told his family he wouldn't make it through, but Brian
says that the help of his mom's praying and God I
pulled through."
- Both AJ and Nick were made fun of at school. Aj's
interest in dance and theater didn't go over too well
with the guys and Nick was always singing.
- Instead of carrying a backpack or lunch box to school
when he was small, AJ lugged around a suitcase just to
be different.
- Howie went under the name of Tony Dinetti for three
years before he was a BSB. His agents thought it was
more catchy.
- When trying out for a spot in The Backstreet Boys,
AJ had to sing a New Kids on the Block tune and dance.
- Nick Carter almost wasn't a member of The Backstreet

- The Backstreet Boys' first official show occurred on Saturday, May 8, 1993, at the Nautilus Theater in Orlando's Sea World amusement park. Amoung the group's songs was an a cappella version of Shai's "If I ever fall in love."
- 3 of BSB's home videos-Backstreet Boys:ALL ACCESS, A night out with the Backstreet Boys, and Homecoming: Live in Orlando-made the list of top-selling music videos of 1999 according to Billboard Magazine. The videos ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively, on the year-end chart.
- Much Music, Canada's music video network, had two Backstreet Boys videos atop it's chart of the top 90 videos of 1999. "I want it that way" was No.1, followed by "Larger than life" at No.2.
- BSB recorded 3 songs in the summer of 1995 in a collaboration with Sweden's Denniz PoP. "We've got it going on," "Quit playing games(with my heart)," and "Nobody but you."
- BSB placed 3 of it's videos in MTV's top 99 of 1999. "I want it that way" snagged the No.1 spot, followed by "Larger than life" at No.12 and "All I have to give" at No.34.
- The BSB's television appearances have included performances with Tony Bennett, Shania Twain and Elton John.
