The Timeline below covers only the Rumours Era Group

April 1967 - Mick Fleetwood, Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Bob Brunning form Fleetwood Mac in London, England.

Sept 1967 - John McVie finally joins Fleetwood Mac replacing Bob Brunning on bass, Bob Brunning goes on to become a teacher and blues musician.

Aug 1970 - Christine McVie joins her husband in Fleetwood Mac, replacing Peter Green who has quit following drug dependency

Late 1970 - Late 1974 - .Fleetwood Mac undergo many personnel changes with Danny Kirwin, Bob Welch, Bob Weston and Dave Walker joining and then leaving.

5th Sept 1973 - Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks release Buckingham Nicks on Polydor Records, the album fails to make an impact on the American Charts.

Late 1974 - Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie leave England to set up home in the United States.

Dec 1974 - Bob Welch formally leaves Fleetwood Mac and Mick Fleetwood remembers a guitarist he had listened to at Sound City Studios, Mick tracks down that guitarist to be Lindsey Buckingham who he asks to join Fleetwood Mac. Mick then gathers that Lindsey will only join with his then girlfriend and singing partner Stevie Nicks.

Feb 1975 - Studio sessions begin with Lindsey and Stevie as members of Fleetwood Mac. The recording of the Fleetwood Mac (White Album) begins.

15th May 1975 - The group begins its first US tour in support of the album Fleetwood Mac at El Paso, Texas.

11th July 1975 - Fleetwood Mac is released.

Sept 1975 - The single Over My Head is released hitting #20 on the US charts, but misses the UK charts.

Oct 1975 - The single Warm Ways is released in the UK but fails to make the chart.

22nd Dec 1975 - The US tour ends in Anaheim, California.

Feb 1976 - Sessions begin for the Rumours album.

Mar 1976 - Songbird is recorded at the Zellerback Auditorium for the Rumours album.

1st May 1976 - American Tour begins at Oakland, California.

June 1976 - An old Buckingham Nicks single Crying In The Night is re-released, but it misses the US charts.

5th June 1976 - The single Rhiannon is released hitting #11 on the US charts, but misses the UK charts.

Sept 1976 - The single Say You Love Me is released hitting #11 on the US charts and #40 on the UK charts.

4th Sept 1976 - Following the success of the singles lifted from the Fleetwood Mac album, the album will finally make #1 on the US album chart. It will make #23 on the UK album chart.

5th Dec 1976 - American tour ends at Indianapolis, Indiana.

Feb 1977 - Rumours is released, following personal problems between the two couples in the band, the songs on the album reflect the mood and connect with the buying public. Rumours will go on to sell in excess of 15 million copies worldwide, reaching both the #1 slot on the US and UK album charts.

Feb 1977 - The group begins a US tour in support of Rumours at Berkeley, California.

Mar 1977 - The single Go Your Own Way is released hitting US #10 and UK #38.

May 1977 - The single Don't Stop is released in the UK hitting  #32.

April 1977 - A European Tour begins at Birmingham, England in support of Rumours, which lasts for the month.

7th May 1977 - The American Tour continues till October.

Aug 1977 - The single Dreams is released and hits #1 on the US charts and #24 on the UK charts.

Sept 1977 - Don't Stop is released in the US reaching #3.

Oct 1977 - The single You Make Loving Fun is released in the UK reaching #45.

3rd Oct 1977 - The American tour ends in San Diego, California.

Nov 1977 - Australia / Japan Tour begins which lasts till  December.

Dec 1977 - The final single from Rumours, You Make Loving Fun is released in the US reaching #9.

Jan 1978 - Fleetwood Mac wins the Favorite Band and Favorite Album at the annual American Music Awards.

23rd Feb 1978 - Rumours is named the Album Of The Year at the 20th annual Grammy Awards.

Mar 1978 - Rhiannon is re-released in the UK reaching #46.

May 1978 - Sessions begin for the Tusk album.

17th July 1978 - The group begin a summer US tour at Alpine Valley, Wisconsin.

18th July 1978 - Stevie Nicks guests on Kenny Loggins Whenever I Call You Friend which makes US #5.

30th Aug 1978 - Summer Tour ends at Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Late 1978 - Tusk is recorded with the USC Trojan Marching Band at Dodger Stadium California for the Tusk album.

9th May 1979 - Bombs  Away Dream Babies by John Stewart is released, it contains Gold sung with Stevie Nicks. Lindsey Buckingham also produces the album.

10th Oct 1979 - The group is awarded its Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Oct 1979 - The double album Tusk is released, the album will fail to sell as many copies as Rumours but still makes US #4 and UK #1.

26th Oct 1979 - The group begins an American Tour in support of Tusk.

Nov 1979 - The single Tusk is released hitting US #8 and UK #6.

16th Dec 1979 - American Tour ends at The Cow Palace, San Francisco.

Jan 1980 - The single Sara is released in the UK hitting #37.

Feb 1980 - The single Not That Funny is released in the UK, but misses the charts.

3rd Feb 1980 - Australia / Japan Tour begins in Tokyo in support of Tusk.

27th March 1980 - North American Tour Opens.

May 1980 - The single Think About Me is released  reaching #20on the US charts, but misses the UK charts

1st June 1980 - European Tour opens in London, England in support of Tusk.

7th June 1980 - The single Sisters Of The Moon is released in the US reaching #86.

5th August 1980 - The tour returns to America for a short run till 1st Sept.

1st Sept 1980 - The group finishes the World Tour at the Hollywood Bowl.

Nov 1980 - Fleetwood Mac Live is released spanning the Rumours and the Tusk tours, it will go on to hit US #14 and UK #31.

15th Dec 1980 - The single Sara is released in the US hitting #7.

1981 - Fleetwood Mac Documentary And Live Concert video was released.

28th Feb 1981 - The single Fireflies is released in the US reaching #60.

Mar 1981 - The single The Farmer's Daughter is released, but misses both the UK and US charts.

May 1981 - Sessions begin for the Mirage album in Le Chateau, Herouville, France

June 1981 - Sessions end for Mirage and the studio overdubs begin in Larrabee Sound, Los Angeles, these will last till December 1981.

July 1981 - Mick Fleetwood solo album The Visitor is released, this album was recorded in Ghana, Africa using African session musicians. It also marks the re-appearance of Peter Green who also performs on guitar, The album makes US #43 but fails to make the UK charts.

8th July 1981 - Stevie Nicks solo single Stop Draggin' My Heart Around sung with Tom Petty, from the Bella Donna album is released, reaching #3 on the US charts and #50 on the UK charts.

27th July 1981 - Stevie Nicks  first solo album Bella Donna is released, reaching #1 on the US charts and #11 on the UK charts.

24th Oct 1981 - Stevie Nicks solo single Leather And Lace is released, reaching #6 on the US charts. It features Don Henley on vocals.

Nov 1981 - Lindsey Buckingham first solo album Law And Order is released, reaching #32 on the US charts. The album also features Mick Fleetwood and Christine McVie.

27th Nov 1981 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting Bella Donna opens in Houston, Texas. The tour is known as the "White Winged Dove Tour".

13th Dec 1981 - The "White Winged Dove Tour" comes to an end in Los Angeles. The tour only opens in the US.

Jan 1982 - Lindsey Buckingham solo single Trouble is released, reaching #9 on the US charts and #31 on the UK charts.

4th Feb 1982 - Stevie Nicks solo single Edge Of Seventeen is released, reaching #11 on the US charts.

Mar 1982 - Lindsey Buckingham solo single The Visitor is released in the UK , but fails to make the chart.

Mar 1982 - Lindsey Buckingham solo single It Was I  is released in the US , but fails to make the chart.

30th April 1982 - Stevie Nicks solo single After The Glitter Fades is released, reaching #32 on the US charts.

Mar 1982 - Lindsey Buckingham solo single Mary Lee Jones  is released in the US, but fails to make the chart.

June 1982 - The single Hold Me is released, reaching US #4, but fails to make the UK charts.

7th Aug 1982 - Mirage album is released, where it goes on to reach US #1 and UK#5.

1st Sept 1982 - A short US tour opens in Greensboro, North Carolina in support of Mirage.

4th Sept 1982 - The single Gypsy is released hitting #12 on the US charts and #46 on the UK charts.

21/22 Oct 1982 - Mirage concert is filmed at The Forum, Los Angeles for a future video release.

30th Oct 1982 - US tour ends in Oakland, California.

Nov 1982 - The single Love In Store is released hitting #22 on the US charts.

1983 - Stevie Nicks In Concert is released on video.

Feb 1983 - UK only release Oh Diane reaches #9 on the UK singles chart.

April 1983 - The single Can't Go Back is released in the UK but misses the charts. 

May 1983 - Stevie Nicks guests on Robbie Patton's single Smiling Islands where it reaches #52 on the US charts.

19th May 1983 - Stevie Nicks solo single Stand Back is released, reaching #5 on the US charts, but fails to make the UK charts.

30th May 1983 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting The Wild Heart opens in San Bernardino, California.

10th June 1983 - Stevie Nicks solo album The Wild Heart is released, reaching #5 on the US charts and #28 on the UK charts.

July 1983 - Lindsey Buckingham solo single Holiday Road from the National Lampoon's Vacation soundtrack is released, reaching #82 on the US charts but missing the UK charts.

Aug 1983 - Mick Fleetwood releases his second solo album I'm Not Me under the name of "Mick Fleetwood's Zoo", but this will fail to chart. RCA then release Mick from his contract.

3rd Sept 1983 - Stevie Nicks solo single If Anyone Falls is released, reaching #14 on the US charts, but fails to make the UK charts.

20th Nov 1983 - Stevie Nicks solo tour comes to an end in Armes, Iowa. The tour only opens in the US.

30th Nov 1983 - Stevie Nicks solo single Nightbird is released, reaching #33 on the US charts, but fails to make the UK charts.

10 Dec 1983 - Stevie Nicks appears on "Saturday Night Live" performing Stand Back and Nightbird.

1984 - In Concert Mirage Tour 1982 tour video was released.

Feb 1984 - Christine McVie solo album Christine McVie is released where it reaches US #26, It also features Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood. The album fails to make the UK album chart.

Mar 1984 - Christine McVie solo single Got A Hold On Me  is released, reaching #10 on the US charts,  but fails to make the UK charts.

1st May 1984 - Mick Fleetwood files for bankruptcy.

June 1984  - Christine McVie solo single Love Will Show Us How  is released, reaching #30 on the US charts,  but fails to make the UK charts.

July 1984 - Lindsey Buckingham solo single Go Insane is released, reaching #23 on the US chart, but fails to make the UK charts.

Sept 1984 - Lindsey Buckingham  solo album Go Insane is released, reaching #45 on the US charts, but fails to make the UK charts.

Oct 1984 - Lindsey Buckingham solo single Slow Dancing  is released, reaching #23 on the US chart, but fails to make the UK charts.

Aug 1985 - Christine McVie recruits Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Lindsey Buckingham to help record Can't Help Falling In Love for A Fine Mess soundtrack. This will lead to future studio recordings which will evolve into the Tango In The Night album.

Late 1985 - Fleetwood Mac begin studio sessions for the Tango In The Night album at Rumbo Records, California

28th Oct 1985 - Stevie Nicks solo single Talk To Me  is released, reaching #4 on the US charts and #68 on the UK charts.

18th Nov 1985 - Stevie Nicks solo album Rock A Little is released, reaching #12 on the US charts and #30 on the UK charts.

10th Feb 1986 - Stevie Nicks solo single I Can't Wait is released, reaching #16 on the US charts and #54 on the UK charts.

11th April 1986 - Stevie Nicks solo American tour supporting Rock A Little opens in Houston, Texas.

12th May 1986 - Stevie Nicks solo single Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You is released, reaching #60 on the US charts.

28th Aug 1986 - Stevie Nicks solo American tour supporting Rock A Little closes in Long Beach, California.

24th Sept 1986 - Stevie Nicks solo Australian tour supporting Rock A Little opens in Sydney, Stevie will play eight dates in Australia finishing on 6th Oct.

1986 - Jan 1987 - Overdub sessions continue at Lindsey's studio "The Slope" for Tango In The Night.

1987 - Red Rocks a Stevie Nicks concert video is released.

April 1987 - Tango In The Night is released, it reaches US #7 and UK #1.

30th May 1987 - The single Big Love is released reaching US #5 and UK#9.

11th June 1987 - Mick Fleetwood  and Stevie Nicks perform together in Mick's side group "The Zoo" in San Diego.

20th June 1987 - The single Seven Wonders is released hitting US #19 and UK #56.

Aug 1987 - The single Little Lies is released in the US hitting #4. 

7th Aug 1987 - Lindsey Buckingham declines to tour with Fleetwood Mac in support of Tango In The Night. 

Sept 1987 - Lindsey Buckingham is replaced by Billy Burnette and Rick Vito. Tour rehearsals begin in Venice, California.

Sept 1987 - The single Little Lies is released in the UK hitting #5

Nov 1987 - The single Everywhere is released in the US hitting #14. 

12/13th Dec 1987 - Tango In The Night concert at "The Cow Palace" San Francisco is filmed for future video release.

Late 1987 - First sessions without Lindsey begin with the recording if As Long As You Follow and No Questions Asked for the forecoming Greatest Hits album. The sessions feature Billy Burnette and Rick Vito on guitars and Greg Ladanyi producing.

Jan 1988 - The single Family Man is released in the UK reaching  #54.

6th Feb 1988 - The single Everywhere is released in the UK reaching  #4.

April 1988 -  The single Family Man is released in the US reaching  #90.

June 1988 - The single Isn't It Midnight is released in the UK and makes #60.

Oct 1988 - Tango In The Night tour video is released.

Nov 1988 - The single As Long As You Follow is released hitting US #43 and UK #66.

Dec 1988 - Greatest Hits detailing the Buckingham Nicks years with two new tracks As Long As You Follow and No Questions Asked is released reaching US # and UK #3.

15th Jan 1989 - Sessions begin for the Behind The Mask album.

Feb 1989 - The single Hold Me is re-released in the UK but fails to make the chart.

21st April 1989 - Stevie Nicks solo single Rooms On Fire is released, reaching #16 on the US charts and #16 on the UK charts.

11the May 1989 - Stevie Nicks solo album The Other Side Of The Mirror is released, reaching #10 on the US charts and #3 on the UK charts.

July 1989 - Stevie Nicks solo single Long Way To Go is released in the UK and makes #

11th Aug 1989 - Stevie Nicks solo single Two Kinds Of Love is released in the US and Europe, but fails to make the US charts.

17th Aug 1989 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting The Other Side Of the Mirror opens its North American leg in Toronto, Canada.

25th Oct 1989 - Stevie Nicks North American tour ends in Los Angeles.

30th Oct 1989 - Stevie Nicks solo single Whole Lotta Trouble  is released in the UK and reaches # 

14th Nov 1989 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting The Other Side Of the Mirror opens its European leg in Dublin, Ireland. The tour will go to England, France and Holland and will finish on 27th Nov.

Mar 1990 - The single Save Me is released hitting US #33 and UK #

26th Mar 1990 - The Mask tour opens in Melborne, Australia in support of Behind The Mask.

April 1990 - Behind The Mask is released hitting US #18 and UK #1. The album features Billy Burnette and Rick Vito with Greg Ladanyi producing. Lindsey Buckingham makes a guest appearance on guitar on the track Behind The Mask.

27th May 1990 - The Mask tour moves to America and opens at Seattle, Washinghton.

July 1990 - The single Skies The Limit is released but fails to make the US or UK charts.

Aug 1990 - The single In The Back Of My Mind is released in the UK and make #

Aug 1990 - The single Hard Feelings is released in the US but misses the charts.

Aug 1990 - The Mask tour moves onto the European legs.

23rd Aug 1990 - Behind The Mask concert in Utrecht, Holland.

25th Aug 1990 - Behind The Mask concert in Manchester, England is recorded by BBC Radio One, this recording will find its way onto a bootleg CD Next Stop Maine Road.

17th Oct 1990 - The Mask tour returns to America for it's final leg at Gainesville, Florida.

Dec 1990 - Whist touring to support Behind The Mask, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie both announce that they are going to retire from touring with Fleetwood Mac. Christine will continue to record on the future Fleetwood Mac albums, however due to a disagreement with Mick over using Silver Springs on her solo album Timespace, Stevie will vow never to work with Fleetwood Mac again. (Mick will not allow Stevie to use the song as he is keeping it for the future Fleetwood Mac box set).

7th Dec 1990 - The Mask tour ends at Los Angeles, California where Lindsey Buckingham joins Fleetwood Mac on stage for two songs, Landslide and Go Your Own Way.

11th July 1991 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting Timespace opens in Dallas, Texas.

23rd Aug 1991 - Stevie Nicks solo album Timespace - The Best Of Stevie Nicks  is released, reaching #30 on the US charts and #15 on the UK charts.

12th Oct 1991 - Stevie Nicks solo single Sometimes It's A Bitch is released, reaching #56 on the US charts and #40 on the UK charts.

25th Oct 1991 - Stevie Nicks appears in Dallas, Texas at the "International Tribute To Jane Goodall" where she performs Jane's Song.

Nov 1991 - Rick Vito quits Fleetwood Mac to pursue a solo career, he cites musical freedom or lack of as a reason of quitting.

Nov 1991 - Stevie Nicks solo single I Can't Wait is re-released in the UK where it reaches # 47.

Nov 1991 - Stevie Nicks solo single Love's A Hard Game To Play is released in the US where it misses the charts.

14th Nov 1991 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting Timespace ends in Los Angeles.

Feb 1992 - Mick Fleetwood's new band "The Zoo" sign to Capricorn Records, the band features Bekka Bramlett on vocals.

25th Feb 1992 - Stevie Nicks appears on two tracks on Rick Vito's solo album King Of Hearts, the tracks are Desiree and Intuition.

June 1992 - Lindsey Buckingham solo single Countdown is released in the UK but misses the charts.

June 1992 - John McVie releases his first solo album under the name of "John McVie's Gotta A Band With Lola Thomas", the album uses the same name, but this misses the charts.

July 1992 - Mick Fleetwood's side group "The Zoo" release the album Shakin' the Cage but this fails to make the charts.

Aug 1992 - Lindsey Buckingham solo album Out Of the Cradle is released and makes US #128 and UK #51.

24th Nov 1992 - A four CD set 25 Years - The Chain is released, it features four new songs - Paper Doll, Heart Of Stone, Love Shines and Make Me A Mask and many alternate versions. The CD's cover all of the various line ups of Fleetwood Mac. The album does not chart.

Dec 1992 - Love Shines is released but fails to make the charts.

10th Dec 1992 - Lindsey Buckingham begins his first solo tour in support of Out Of the Cradle, he will perform till 13th July 1993. Including supporting Tina Turner.

13th Jan 1993 - The classic version of Fleetwood Mac comprising of Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie reform to perform Don't Stop at President Clinton's inaugural ball. This will be the only concert and Lindsey and Stevie will then return to their own solo careers.

13th July 1993 - Lindsey Buckingham's tour ends in New York.

23rd May 1994 - Stevie Nicks solo album Street Angel  is released, reaching #45 on the US charts and #16 on the UK charts.

26th May 1994 - Stevie Nicks solo single Maybe Love is released, reaching #57 on the US charts and #42 on the UK charts.

21st July 1994 - A new line up of Fleetwood Mac makes a surprise appearance at the opening of Mick Fleetwood's new restaurant . The line up comprises of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Billy Burnette, Dave Mason and Bekka Bramlett.

22nd July 1994 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting Street Angel opens in Massachusetts.

2nd Aug 1994 - Stevie Nicks appears on the "Late Show With David Letterman" where she performs Blue Denim.

11th Aug 1994 - Stevie Nicks solo single Blue Denim is released, but misses the US charts.

12th Aug 1994 - The new line up of Fleetwood Mac begin a US tour opening for Crosby Stills and Nash at New York without Christine McVie (who will not tour with this version of the band).

23rd Aug 1994 - Stevie Nicks appears on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno where she performs Blue Denim.

18th Sept 1994 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting Street Angel ends in Los Angeles.

2nd Dec 1994 - The new line of Fleetwood Mac begin a European tour at Leidan, Holland.

17th Dec 1994 - European tour ends at Groningen, Holland.

2nd June 1995 - European tour continues at Skien, Norway.

25th June 1995 - European tour ends at Koblenz, Germany. (Fleetwood Mac will not perform in the UK on this tour).

18th July 1995 - American tour begins at Canandaigua, New York.

1st Sept 1995 - American tour ends at Las Vegas, Nevada.

10th Oct 1995 - A new album from the latest version of Fleetwood Mac appears, titled Time the album will fail to chart in the US but makes UK #47 . The album still features Christine McVie (who still records with the band, but will not tour) and again a guest appearance on one track by Lindsey Buckingham.

1996 - The Time line up of Fleetwood Mac falls apart, Mick Fleetwood will begin working with Lindsey Buckingham on Lindsey's new solo project. Billy Burnette and Bekka Bramlett will team up and record a country album.

3rd May 1996 - Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks perform together at the Kentucky Derby and perform Johnny B. Goode.

7th May 1996 - Twister soundtrack is released, the soundtrack contains Twisted a new song song performed by Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood.

Late 1996 - Christine McVie joins John McVie and Mick Fleetwood in the studio to help out Lindsey Buckingham who is recording his new solo album.

Dec 1996 - I Can't Wait, a greatest hits video from Stevie Nicks is released.

Early 1997 - Rumours begin circulating that the classic line up of Fleetwood Mac comprising of Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and John McVie are to reform for a new project.

18th April 1997 - The Rumours era Fleetwood Mac re-form for an MTV special - The Dance, this will lead to a full US tour later in the year. Rehearsals take place at Warner Bros Studios at Burbank, California.

21st May 1997 - Fleetwood Mac perform The Dance special for MTV. This was the final dress rehearsal.

22nd May 1997 - Fleetwood Mac perform The Dance for MTV who videotaped the show for future release.

23rd May 1997 - Fleetwood Mac perform The Dance for MTV who videotaped both shows for future release.

12th Aug 1997 - The Dance premieres on MTV.

15th Aug 1997 - Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks appear on the Mark and Brian radio show where Lindsey performs Big Love and Never Going Back Again, and Stevie performs Landslide.

19th Aug 1997 - The Dance is released, it will go on to reach #1 on the US charts and #14 on the UK charts.

17th Sept 1997 - The Dance tour opens in Hartford. Connecticut.

30th Sept 1997 - The Dance tour video was released.

6th Nov 1997 - The Dance concert in Nashville, USA

12th Jan 1998 - Fleetwood Mac are inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. 

12th & 13th Jan 1998 - Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood appear on Late Night with David Letterman performing Big Love & Landslide.

27th Jan 1998The Making Of Rumours video was released.

9th Feb 1998 - Fleetwood Mac are honored at the UK Brit Awards, they receive an award for an Outstanding Contribution To The British Music Industry. They perform a medley of hits including Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way and Don't Stop.

25th Feb 1998 - Fleetwood Mac perform at the Grammy Awards, They perform a short medley of hits including Rhiannon, Don't Stop and Go Your Own Way. Fleetwood Mac are also nominated for for three Grammys including "Best Performance by Duo or Group" for Silver Springs, "Best Pop Album" for The Dance and "Best Rock Performance" for The Chain.

March 1998 - Silver Springs is released as a single in Europe.

24th March 1998 - Legacy - A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac's Rumours is released. This is a tribute album with various artists performing the songs from Rumours.

28th April 1998 - Stevie Nicks box set The Enchanted Works Of Stevie Nicks is released.

30th April 1998 - Stevie Nicks appears on The Jay Leno Late Show and performs Stand Back.

27th May 1998 - First night of Stevie Nicks's Enchanted tour opens at Hartford, Connecticut.

16th June 1998 - Stevie Nicks appears on the "Late Show With David Letterman" where she performs Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You.

30th June 1998 - Landslide is released as a single, it fails to mark a mark on the US billboard charts, it is not released in the UK.

8th Aug 1998 - Stevie Nicks solo tour supporting Enchanted ends in Portland, Oregon..

14th Aug 1998 - Stevie Nicks last and final Enchanted date comes to an end at Woodstock 98.

18th Sept 1998 - Stevie Nicks "Storytellers" is recorded by VH1, where she performs Dreams, Landslide, Glitter, Garbo, Rose Garden, Sleeping Angel, Dreams, Landslide, Stand Back, Gold Dust Woman, Edge of 17, Stand Back, Has Anyone Ever Written....., Sara (tease) and Rhiannon (piano),

6th Oct 1998 - The Practical Magic soundtrack was released, this has two songs from Stevie Nicks on it, a new version of Crystal and If You Ever Did Believe.

1st Nov 1998 - Stevie Nicks documentaries Storytellers and Behind The Music airs on VH1 in the USA.

18th May 1999 - Stevie Nicks was a double winner at the BMI Pop Awards for Silver Springs and Landslide.

8th June 1999 - Stevie Nicks performed at a private corporate show in New Orleans.

17th July 1999 - Stevie Nicks joins Sheryl Crow on stage at Lilith Fair to perform Strong Enough.

14th Sept 1999 - Stevie Nicks joins Sheryl Crow on stage at Central Park to perform Gold Dust Woman. The performance will later be released as a live album.

19th Nov 1999 - Stevie Nicks performed at a private corporate show in Omaha, Nebraska.

7th Dec 1999 - Stevie Nicks appears on Sheryl Crow and Friends. The CD includes Stevie & Sheryl singing Gold Dust Woman.

28th Dec 1999 - Stevie Nicks performed a few dates at the end of the year and at the beginning of year 2000.

9th Jan 2000 - Stevie Nicks brief tour ends in Anaheim, California.

11th Feb 2000 - Stevie Nicks performs at a private show at the Cow Palace, San Francisco.

27th Feb 2000 - Rumours re-enters the UK album charts and spends ten weeks on chart,  reaching the highest position of #38.

8th August 2000 -  Stevie performs at a private show at The Joint - Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV for the World Shoe Association.

29th August 2001 - Stevie performs at a private corporate show at San Diego, CA for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.

23rd Sept 2000 - Stevie gave a benefit concert for the Arizona Heart Institute at the America West Arena in Phoenix. Joining Stevie were special guests Sheryl Crow, Chris Isaak, Don Henley and Lindsey Buckingham. The setlist was: Outside the Rain, Dreams, Enchanted, Gold Dust Woman, Every Day is a Winding Road (Sheryl with Stevie backing vocals), My Favorite Mistake (Sheryl), Difficult Kind (Sheryl with Stevie backing vocals), Stand Back, Leather and Lace (w/ Don), Boys of Summer (slow version, no Stevie), Rhiannon, It's Late (Chris lead vocal, Stevie backing vocals), Solitary Man (Chris with Stevie backing vocals), Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing (Chris, Sheryl on backing vocals), Big Love (Lindsey), Go Insane (Lindsey-- both of these songs were dedicated to Stevie), Landslide (w/ Lindsey), Gypsy (acoustic version w/ Lindsey), Edge of Seventeen, I Need to Know, and Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You.

10th Oct 2000 - Lindsey Buckingham appears on a new John Stewart album
"Wires From The Bunker", a compilation of 18 songs recorded between 1981-1983.  Lindsey guests on the rocking lead-off track, "American Way", playing lead guitar and singing backing vocals. He is also the subject of another song on the CD, "Liddy Buck", written by John as a return tip of the hat to Lindsey, whose "Johnny Stew" salutes John on "Law And Order".

Nov 2000 - EMI-Plus Records in Europe release a compilation of Stevie Nicks songs, titled "The Divine Stevie Nicks", released in mainland Europe only.

14th Dec 2000 - Stevie performed on December 14th, with other artists, at the White House in front of a VIP audience, including The President and Mrs. Clinton, celebrating the 32nd Anniversary of the Special Olympics. The other performers include Kirk Franklin, Jon Bon Jovi, Macy Gray, Wyclef Jean, B.B. King, John Popper, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Stevie Wonder, among others. They performed favorite holiday songs. Stevie performed Silent Night with The Heartbreakers.

6th Jan 2001 - Fleetwood Mac (minus Christine) performed at a surprise party for the out-going President Bill Clinton. They performed an hour long set comprising of  - Don't Stop, The Chain, Dreams, Tusk, Rhiannon, Big Love, Landslide, Gypsy, I'm So Afraid, Gold Dust Woman, Go Your Own Way
