Reverend Timothy Lovejoy is the pastor of Springfield Baptist Church. His wife, Helen, is the biggest gossip in town. Together, they make up an unstoppable team of bringing the city to its knees before God. They have a daughter named Jessica, but she's always away at boarding school. She is as evil as the devil's spawn, but her parents haven't got a clue. Rev. Lovejoy's favorite pasttime is playing with his model trains.
