The Team met at "THE N ZONE" and we played our Season opening
night 9/30/99, against the Heidelberg's "In There ". We played hard and had a great time! We won the night's match 7 games to 6. It was very close. Jay had the best averages at the end of the night. Next week we will play another team from The N-Zone "Short Bus"

UPDATE 10/08/99:
The Team met at "THE N ZONE" as the visiting team, for the second night of the season 10/07/99 and played against The N-Zone's "Short Bus". (I asked what the meaning of the team name was and they told me that the name comes from school. You know the "Short Bus" that all the "Special Kids" rode.) We had a great time! We won the night's match 8 games to 5. We were very evenly matched and stayed tied in the 301 games. We were able to play a little better in the games of Cricket and finished the night by winning the 701 game. (yours truly took it out) Next week we are at Home again and will host Brewsky's East "Better at Math".
UPDATE 10/14/99:
The "Fire Eaters" hosted Brewsky's East "Better at Math" at "THE N ZONE" . We lost the nights match 9 games to 4. The season's still young and we will play better next time we meet. Jimmy subbed for John tonight and he earned a 4 round out pin in 301. The next match is against Library Lounge "Rock Hard". We will be the visiting team and travel to their location. The way things look, this will be the team to beat. We'll see.

UPDATE 10/22/99:
The "Fire Eaters" traveled to the Library Lounge and played against "Rock Hard". Doug came and played with the team and played well. He subbed for Don. It was a tough night and both teams played very well. In the end "Rock Hard" won the night's match 7 games to 6. They have the best win percentages in our league. The "Fire Eaters" are currently in 5th out of 7 teams. But all 7 teams are pretty close. (There are only 1 or 2 wins separating each team) Next week we are at "THE N ZONE"again and will host West A Pub's "S&M". Stay tuned to this page, more next week, same dart time, same dart channel!
UPDATE 10/28/99:
Tonight we hosted West A Pub's "S&M". We all played well. After a late start, we were the winners of the nights match. We won 8 games, they won 5. Doug came back to sub again, this time, he played for John who had to take care of some personal business. Doug was the Darter of the Week for Cricket, last week. Jay was D.O.W. for 301 last week. Way to go guys! next week we will have a bye night. We will probably get together and practice. The next night we play will be Nov. 11, 1999. We will travel to Brewsky's South. Check back next week for an update on the standings. Currently we are tied for 4th.
UPDATE 11/12/99:
After a bye last week at home, we were in third place, overall. We had won 33 out of the last 65 games played. Second place team was Rock Hard with 36 games won and 1st place team of the week was Brewsky's South's Pointless with 39 games won.
We Traveled to Brewsky's South to play Pointless. We won 7 to 6. We had a good start, winning 4 out of 6 games of 301. The host team came back in the Cricket games by winning 4 of 6 games. It came down to the 701 game to determine the night's winner. Doug, who subbed for Arlan, threw the winning dart and won the game for us. It was a very close game towards the end, with both teams only needing a 2,3,6 or 11 to go out. Doug threw a double 1 finally, and I think everyone was glad that was over. It was a very good night for all. We all had a good time. Next week we travel to Heidelbergs and play "In There". We have played all the teams at least once now. When next week's stats come out, we will have a good idea of who to beat is. For now, it's only a few games that divide the teams. Stay tooned, same dart channel, same dart time next week. UPDATE 11/18/99:
Tonight the team traveled to Heidelberg's Bar & Grill and played the team "In There". We won the night's match 9 games to 4. Doug got D.O.W. in cricket last week. Congrats to Doug. We are still in third place overall for right now. We'll have to see how well the other teams played before we know for sure if we moved up to 1st or 2nd. There was just 5 wins difference between us and 1st and only 1 win difference between us and 2nd.(1st place with 45 wins out of 78 games played is "Pointless". 2nd place with 41 wins out of 78 games is "Rock Hard" and we are 3rd with 40 wins out of 78 games.) Very close indeed. Dec. 2, 1999 will be the night of our next match, since next week is Thanksgiving. We will play at the home bar "THE N ZONE" and host "Short Bus". So.... Happy Thanksgiving and have a safe, great holiday!
UPDATE 12/2/99:
We all met at "THE N ZONE" and played "Short Bus". We won 9 games out of 13. As for the standings so far, we are tied for second place with "Rock Hard" and only a few games behind 1st place team "Pointless". Tonight's match should lock us into 2nd at least. Next week we travel to Brewsky's East and play "Better at Math" who were in 6th place. Until next week......Good Darts!

We met at Brewsky's East and played "Better at Math" tonight. Doug came in and subbed for Jay. This time, we played better than the last time we played this team. We had a pretty good time, but the service and the food sucked. They could use a good "space use" consultant too. (The current floor plan is really bad)The "Fire-Eaters" won the night's match 8 games to 5. The Fire-Eaters are in second place now and next week we play Library Lounge "Rock Hard" at "THE N ZONE". It will be interesting to see which team will be in first next week. "Pointless" was still in first place, but we are close behind. Come back next week and check it out.
UPDATE 12/16/99:
We all met up at "THE N ZONE" and we hosted "Rock Hard". We all played hard and it was another close match. We won the night with 7 games. We were behind 4 games after 6 games of 301. We managed to come back and tie things back up in "Cricket". We finished the match by winning the game of 701. The team is in second place and we are only .3% behind the first place team "Pointless". Next two weeks we don't play because of the holidays. So next time we will travel to West A Pub to play "S&M" on Jan. 6, 2000. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
UPDATE 1/6/2000 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!:
For those who don't know it yet, the Millenium begins year 2001. Year 2000 is the last year of the 20th century. (2000 = 20th century, get it, got it, good!) Well, we met up at West A pub tonight. After not playing for a couple of weeks, the team did not play as well as we could've. "S&M" played very well tonight and won the night's match 8 games to 5. (Way to go, team!) We were tied after playing 6 games of "301". The games of "Cricket" are where we ran into trouble. we won 2 of the 6 games and then, to make things worse, we lost the "701" game. We will have 2 weeks to practice and get back up to where we were. We were in 2nd place. Hopefully this won't set us back too much. We still have 8 more games to play before we play the City Tournement. Next week is a bye for us. We will host The Brewsky's South "Pointless" at our home bar on 1/20/2000. That's all for now. UPDATE 1/20/2000:
Well, after having a week off, we are still the second place team. Just 5 games behind the 1st place team. "Short Bus" is tied with us after last week. They have come up quick from 6th place. Tonight we played at the home bar "THE N ZONE" and hosted the 1st place team Brewsky's South "Pointless". Doug was subbing for Arlan. He played well, but Jay was on fire. He averaged a 3.5 in "Cricket". Way to go Jay! "Pointless" played well and they were ahead of us after 6 games of "301" 4 games to 2. We played hard and came back to tie things up and after 6 games of "Cricket" it was 6 games each. Doug won the nights match by shooting a 132 to win the "701" game. Now we are 4 games behind 1st place. Next week we will play at "THE N ZONE" again, and we will be hosting Heidelberg's "BW". Be sure to check back next week to see how we are doing. UPDATE 1/28/2000:
We all met-up here at "THE N ZONE" where we played host to "BW" from Heidelberg's. They started strong but we were playing very well as a team and we won 9 games to 4. Jay was the D.O.W. for "Cricket" last week. WAY TO GO JAY!!! A whoopping 3.5 spree. We slipped into third place after last week's games were played. "Short Bus" has inched past us by 1 win. We were still behind 1st by 4 wins. Next week we will play "Short Bus" at "THE N ZONE" we will find out who will be THE top team then. Check back next week. UPDATE 2/3/2000:
Tonight we met at "THE N ZONE" and played "Short Bus". We started out strong and after 6 games of "301", we were ahead 4 games to 2. They played a little harder in the games of "Cricket" and by the time we got to play "701" they had caught up and we had 7 games won they had 5. They won the "701' game and we finished the night 7 games to 6. They were 2 games behind us, in third place at the start of the night. We were in second place and "Pointless" is still the team in first. Next week we host Brewsky's East "Better at Math". This Sat. (Feb. 5,) we are playing in the Cornhusker State Winter Games. We are entered in the team electronic darts event. We hope to go home with the GOLD! Until next week, Good Darts!

Tonight we met at "THE N ZONE" and played Brewsky's East "Better at Math". After 6 games of "301", we were ahead 4 to 2. They played a little better during the "Cricket games and after 6 games, we were still ahead 7 to 5. We won the "701" game and finished the night 8 to 5. Next week we will play at The Library Lounge against "Rock Hard". We are in 2nd place overall in the League standings. Check back next week for more. 2/5/200 we played in the Cornhusker State Winter Games. We were not able to win any medals, but we had a good time trying. There are a lot of great players in this state. We'll be back next year to try again.
UPDATE 2/17/2000:
The team got together at the Library Lounge and we Played agianst "Rock Hard" and we won the night's match 7 games to 6. Doug was back, (he went to Md. for a couple weeks) and subbed for John tonight."Rock Hard" played well tonight. We played well in the "301" games winning 4 of 6 games.
They came back to tie up things in the "Cricket" games. It was 6 to 6 when we played the "701" game. We won the game and the night's match. We are in first place now and it looks like the other teams have some work to do to catch us. Next week we will be back at the home bar "THE N ZONE" and host West A Pub's team "S&M". This will be an interesting night for sure. Be sure to check back and find out how we did.
UPDATE 2/24/2000:
Tonight we met at "THE N ZONE" and hosted the West A Pub team "S&M". Doug played for John. We had a good night and played well. We won the night's match 10 games to 3. We were in 2nd place, when we started. The team "Pointless" was in 1st again. Next week we will have a bye. The next night we play, we will play at Brewsky's South against "Pointless" for the last match before the All City Tournement. The way it looks now, we will also play to determine who will be 1st & 2nd in our division. So be sure to check back to see where we finish.
UPDATE 3/09/2000:
Well, after a bye week we were in 2nd place still. "Pointless" was 1st(by 2 games) and "Short Bus"(behind us by 4 games) in 3rd. We had to play with an emergency sub. Brandi subbed for Jimmy who was spossed to sub for John who couldnt play because of work. Doug was out of town and we couldn't use Carl because he didn't play any games with us before tonight, this season. So a major THANK YOU BRANDI!!! you did great! Thanks for steppin in at the last minute. So, do you want to know what happened? To make a long story shorter, "Pointless" won the night 9 games to 4. They are 1st place. Since we didn't do so well, and "Short Bus" had a good night, we are 3rd for season in our League. Next week we will play in the All City Tournament and we will be looking to repeat last year.
