Journey Blake Interview

A popular magazine called "Music and the Business" Recently caught up with Journey to interview her. We had sorts of questions about her life, family, friends and her music. Here we go:

" How's the music business going and how is your family dealing with it?" Journey: one of my sisters works at a music business and we're going to put up a CD and it's pretty amazing to go this far. All and all, everyone's been supportive about what I want to do with my life.

"What kinda music do you produce?" Journey: Pop and rap. I wanted to do two kinds of music. Raps very cool. I even listen to it myself! I love writing and producing songs on my guitar.

"Why rap?" Journey: Rappers want to get something out of their chest. I don't like it when people judge rap in a negative way. It makes me mad when they look at the cover of a CD and saying "Oh their songs bad, I don't want to listen to it." They shouldn't be judged negatively unless you want to be judged back in a bad way but writing it into a song. Rap has a very good beat edge to it. As long as people don't put the negative attitudes at they like me, the better off that the other people will be. It hurts me so much.

"What are your favorite things on the top of your head?" Journey: My favorite colors are purple and black, my favorite movie is "Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost." I don't have a favorite food. My favorite comics are Archie, Betty and Veronica comics. It's a kind of comics that I want to read and stuff. One of my favorite TV show is "The Drew Carey Show" It's very cool. And the best for last SCOOOBY DOOBY DOOO!

"Name a couple places that you love to go to?" Journey: Here in Ohio, Coolsville, Cleveland, New Hampshire, California, and my favorite vacation spot.

"How is the gang recently?" Journey: Everyone's growing up so fast and doing new things but still solving mysteries around the US. Scooby and Shaggy are the same but Shagg and I bonded on one of our camping trips together with Scooby. Fred is better than ever! He's trying to spill his feelings for Daphne. But things are heating up between it. As so I've heard. Velma's still running the Bookstore and I come by and help with the books and do things around there. She's cool!

"Journey how old are you?" Journey: nineteen

"You are smart what was your memorable thing that you experienced?" Journey: I can't choose between graduating or my first kiss. That is the best thing that I loved most about my life because everything was going on around me. I had a lot of friends growing up, Mostly teenagers. I don't know any kids because I was pushed to high school at a really early age of eight.

"You know a lot of celebrates how did you meet them?" Journey: Since I am the youngest sister to Daphne, I met her friends when I was eight years old when I was playing hide and seek.

"What do you want people to know what you are all about? Journey: Only to let them know that I am an advice giver and I don't give up until the mystery's done.

"Who was your Idol growing up?" Journey: that would be my sisters. They've have been great influence to me all these years.

"Why did you pick her as your idol?" Journey: Because Daphne is really cool. Some people say that she is a ditz, but I don't think so. They just don't know her as well as I do. She's my sister duh.

"Daphne is your sister, did anyone in high school tease her because you were the "The other Rich Girl" daughter?" Journey: Oh yeah the little kids made fun of me because they called me a smart little rich snob whenever I walk by. They are just jealous I was in high school the same time as my sister. She graduated, so did I. But I didn't take their teasing seriously. Daphne had her friends I had mine. But everything went up with the gang.

"Is she your sister biologically?" Journey: She taught me everything to sharing, ignore jealousy, being polite and everything to be a girl. I guess after I was born, Daphne took over the parenting when I was three. My parents didn't like it one bit. So they got really mad because we were hanging out with each other all the time. Mom didn't mind it. Dad minded because he wanted to teach me how to run the family business. I didn't want to. My dad thinks Daphne brainwashed me I guess. I wasn't brainwashed I guess Daphne wanted to know what is like to take care of children when she has children. We moved near the gang's separate houses when mom was pregnant with me. She told me. We argued a lot, getting each other into trouble but as sisters, we stuck together.

"What is your favorite memories?" Journey: One time, when I was really mad at my parents and I wasn't allowed to go to the places Daphne went. They said that we spent too much together. Everytime when the parents went to sleep, Daphne snuck me out and we would go to these places. But they would wonder why I was so tired lately. When I told Daphne this, she was pissed off. I'm learning from them, going to these neat places, The gang tells you what's what. Daphne would get us in bed by the time when mom would wake us up

"Why does some people call Daphne a slut?" Journey: She's rich, and thinks that she is a slut. I didn't like it but she didn't care. She had her mind on schoolwork, solving mysteries, teaching me everything to be a girl and all those kinda things. Now she's older she, we don't stick together anymore. Daphne is an adult. She has own show. But She saves my butt sometimes. One time when she found out that the "Remedy" turned me into a bad girl. She was so upset, she was crying. She cared about me so much.

"What are your favorite color and why?" Journey: every Shade of purple because they make me happy. I got every shade of purple in my bedroom. It is so cool.

"What about your friendship with Sabrina Dinkley?" Journey: Sabrina and I are friends at the moment. She usually hangs out when she's with Daphne or when she is taking care of me. She's cool in every way.
