Tyler has been a very motivated little boy ever since he could communicate, (at seven months old!) he may not be walking on his own, but he really doesn't have a problem keeping up with his friends! While most of his friends just got the hang of talking, Tyler has an explicable vocabuary! At seven months, he had a vocabulary of over 50 Words! With the help of a very special PHYSICAL THEREPIST named PATTI ROTTING-ANDERSON, Tyler has made great strides towards walking on his own. He walks with the aid of AFO's (braces from his calfs down to his toes) and a walker just his size. Tyler started using crutches about three months ago and is almost independant using them.

Up until two months ago, I knew NO ONE with disabled children or siblings. I mean I always SAW disabled people, but never KNEW one. GOD has blessed me tremendously with Tyler! Not only does he teach me to love in so many different was, but he SHOWS me what life IS!

TWO months ago was also a turning point in MY life. Chris (HUBBY) and I hooked up WEB TV in our living room. I turned the WEB on and had NO idea where to go. So I started to browse around and ended up in TALK CITY CHAT. I had always heard about chat rooms, but had never been to one. So, I started scrolling on the room names and one caught my eye......PARENTING SPECIAL NEEDS....WOW, you mean there is a chat room for parents going through the SAME things that I am? Well, sure enough, I entered a room full of the most loving, understanding people, I had ever met!
