February 16, 2008 - Saturday

My human's sister learned that Senator Clinton was opening up a headquarters today and that
former President Bill Clinton would be making an appearance. We didn't waste any time getting
there. I, of course, kept my hopes up of meeting President Clinton. While we waited in line we
spotted an unusual trailer. This spot used to be the Kinky Friedman headquarters before but I
don't know if this had any relation to it.

Presiden Clinton made an appearance and gave a speech for the crowd.

We also got some Senator Clinton supporter posters.

But more suprising than anything, was my meeting President Clinton! Who would have thought?

February 21, 2008 - Thursday

Five days later, Senator Clinton made an appearance in Brownsville. We rushed right over in hopes
of getting to meet her. While there, I did get to meet Senator Eddie Lucio as well before getting to
see Senator Clinton give her speech.

Unfortunately, Senator Clinton was not up to taking a picture with me even though I did try three
times to ask. My human thinks she must be anti-bear but I don't see why as I like to think of myself
as adorable but perhaps I'm wrong. I guess this is why I consider myself to be a Li-BEAR-al! Just
kidding. We know Senator Clinton is a busy person. This is not in any way to suggest that I myself
am a Democrat (although my human's sister is), she just happened to be the only candidate that was
in a city we could get to. Perhaps in the future we'll get to meet other influential people that will and
have made their mark in history.

Because I am not a part of any political party, I did not include a link to any of the 2008 presidential
candidates. However, I would like to say a very special and heart felt thank you to President Clinton
for having taken the time in his busy schedule to take a picture with me. Thank you President Clinton!
