Lonesome Dove Aviaries is located in Houma,
Louisiana, about 45 miles S.W. of New Orleans in the heart of the Bayou
Country. My dad (Lloyd Geist) and myself (Joe Geist) each have approximately
10 acres of land on which we raise a variety of birds and other animals, mostly
as a hobby.
Our finches are parent raised when possible. We
have most colors of Lady Gouldians, and most colors and varities of the Society
and Zebra.
