The league was played in one unified group.
Top three qualified to Türkiye 1. Ligi and the bottom five were relegated to Türkiye 2. Ligi - B Kategorisi.
The tie-breakers used in Turkish leagues were changed this year. The order of tie-breakers were:
1 - Total points gained
2 - The points obtained in the matches involving tied clubs after 1.
3 - Goal difference in the matches involving tied clubs after 2.
4 - Goals scored in the matches involving tied clubs after 3.
5 - Goal difference overall.
6 - Goals scored.
7 - Not having a forfeited game.
8 - A play-off game.
Hacılar Erciyesspor Kulübü changed its name and became Erciyesspor Kulübü.
Kombassan Konyaspor Kulübü changed its name and Konyaspor Kulübü.
