Federation Cup 57/58

The second Federation Cup was organized to select the team to represent Turkey at European Champions' Cup as well, since the Turkish League hasn't started, yet.

The format
40 clubs participated - 22 from İstanbul, 10 from İzmir, and 8 from Ankara.
There was some changes to the structure of the Federation Cup this year. Adana clubs didn't participate and 12 clubs of the İstanbul second professional league played in İstanbul qualifiers.
The Cup was played in three stages this time.
The first stage was played at the cities in cup format - one game knockout system. 8 İstanbul, 4 Ankara and 4 İzmir clubs qualified to second stage.
The second stage was an intercities stage. 8 İstanbul clubs were paired with the İzmir or Ankara clubs. The games were played as two-games knockout format and the winners advanced to the 3rd Stage.
The third stage was played in two groups of 4 clubs each. The games are played in league format, every club in the groups playing each other at home-and-away basis. The tie-breaker was goals for/goals against ratio. The winners of the groups qualified to the final.
The final was played in two games-knockout format.
