1977-1978 Türkiye 2. Ligi

The league was played in two groups one with 17 and with 16 clubs.
The group winners got promoted to Türkiye 1. Ligi. They played a championship game to decide the team to play the "Gençlik ve Spor Başkanlığı Kupası".
The bottom two of their groups were relegated to the Türkiye 3. Ligi.

At Beyaz Grup, the score of Altınordu 8-1 İskenderunspor game was changed to 0-3 loss for both clubs and they were both relegated, no matter where they were at the ranking.
