July 10 Bill finished 24th in the race. It was an ok day for a while but I think what really put elliott out of contention was the unscheduled pit stop at lap 94. The rain made it hard for him to pick up positions at the end. They have a week off and then off to pocono! Hopefully he will get back into the swing of things. He slid back the 18th in points. I hope Bill has good races to come!

July 10 Sorry about the delays. I have been sick for the past couple of days and really couldn't get out of bed so I;m so sorry.

Lets make our hopes and prayers out to the Kenny Irwin Family. He crashed in turn 3 where Adam Petty crashed. The died of injures during the 1st practice. He was only 30.

July 2: Race Summary: Bill was doing GREAT! He was staying in the top 10 until the first caution came out. Then after that he was in the top 5. After the green came out elliott was in the front and lead for a while until caution 2. Then elliott had a fast pit stop and came out in 2nd. He went to the front again! He was great. Then another caution came out then he was behind Ward Burton. He was in second until he went up high and then got shuffled but he got back in line and was doing great. But then Mark went to far to the left and was near the grass and bill had to check up and the mike skinner didn;t and ran into that back of elliott and elliott went right to the wall. Elliott would have won that race. He was one of the best cars there! I still say it was mike skinners fault he should of slowed but he didn't!

JUNE 29: QUALIFYING WILL START AT 8:30 NOW BECAUSE PRACTICE DIDN'T START UNTIL 5 AND WHEN TILL 6:30. IT WILL STILL BE ON ESPN2 BUT AT 8:30 DUE TO THE RAIN IN THE AFTERNOON.

June 29: For the 3rd time Qualifying on at 8est tonight!!! on CBS! Bill pulled out the 16th car to go out and qualify.

June 29: Bill is 25:1 in the Las Vegas Odds for winning the Pepsi 400. I think Bill will have a top 8 start and will finish in the top 10 and start july off well!

June 29: Qualifying will be on ESPN2 at 8 for qualifying but there is a 50 percent chance of rain so keep looking at my weather link. I will be updated it through the day.

June 28: Qualifying on tommorow at 8.

June 28: Rumor: Coors will go to the 9 Ray Evernham and Bill Elliott own car for an Associate Sponser. Rumor2: The Mcflurrey Paint Scheme will be run this weekend at Daytona. Don't know how well these rumors are but will keep you posted!

June 25: Bill started out in 8th position and was doing very well. He was running in 8th with Mark Martin in front of him and Scott Pruett behind him. There was an early caution and Bill's team decided to stay out instead of pitting and they would gain 4 positions. Now they are running in the 4th position when another caution comes out but Bill gave the track position to come in. It was not good after that. They had a broken trackbar. He would have came in even if there wasn't a caution. He would then become 14 laps down and finish in the 35th position. He did get some positions since there were later cautions but it was a very disapointing day. Next week is Daytona where he finished 3rd. So june is over and not a good month for Bill. Lets hope July is much better. He is still 15th in points if i calcuated it right. He can still get in top 10 in points and be in New York after the season is over. Bill is having a little trouble but remember Bill has not lost anything yet!!!
