The Class of 1965 was a class of many firsts. Our class was the first freshman class to attend Franklin High. As such, we were instrumental in establishing many of the traditions at Franklin. Before moving to the new high school in 1961, we voted on the school colors, decided on the mascot, Warriors; named the yearbook and school paper, and were among the first to learn and sing the Alma Mater. Our classmates were part of the first athletic teams, academic teams and ushered in the legacy of Franklin's great marching bands. On Wednesday June 16th, 1965 our class became the first four year graduating class of Franklin High School. We left Franklin to pursue the challenges of the world to begin writing our individual legacies and to celebrate our successes, joys and sorrows. We have all succeeded in making Franklin High proud of our class. In a few years we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of our commencement, the beginning of the final chapters in our lives. Over the past 30 plus years we have, as graduates of Franklin, gone forth to serve her well. Our class has spread out across the United States, but our bond will always be being a part of the beginning of the Franklin High School's traditions. That legacy can never be taken away from us. We were the first! I hope that you enjoy the memories on this site.

Alma Mater
Mem'ries are dear when we sing Franklin High, Enter to learn we'll go forth to serve her well, Years will pass by for us, names left behind, Yet we will stay with you, pleasant thoughts in mind. For it's you that we love for our years spent with Alma Mater, Our years with dear Franklin High.
