these fictional freeway exit lists serve some purpose.  Some are there more for

These roads are already existing extensions of interstate highways.  For example, from
the eastern terminus of I-76, one can continue eastbound to Atlantic City on NJ-42 and
the Atlantic City Expressay.  The purpose behind the I-76 page is "what would the exit
numbers look like if I-76 was extended to Atlantic City."
