I am also an advocate (the nice word for 'activist').
NO, I am NOT a tree hugger, NOR an animal activist. I love mother earth and I love animals, but I am for people; consumers, seniors, the disabled, children, students, parents and their rights. The way I see it, I don't stomp on anyone's rights, and I don't take kindly to someone stomp'n on mine.
I have learned from personal experience that if I say or do nothing when someone stomps me, it doesn't stop.
Thus, an activist is born :)
I want my children to know that humanity is just as important as work ethics.
I think that just because you know how to say 'please' 'thank you' and 'excuse me', doesn't mean your respectful
(for even a well trained monkey can do that). Actions speak volumes to me.
My family came over here in the early 1600's. I am English, French and Apache. Music is a big part of my life. My spelling sucks (is this spell check a beautiful thing or what?! [and buzz off to the dirty faultfinders]). People whom assume, piss me off- they take a few facts, fill in the blanks with assumptions. I find arrogance is the most unattractive thing in a man. I know who I am. I know what I want. I don't do drugs, dont gamble and rarely drink. I love computers. I love sci-fi, history and art. My favorite car is a '68 Mustang. I love to bake and garden. I am a major coffee hound (LOVE it!). I love a busy home and love to laugh.
