Disney Secrets

The purpose of this page is to educate people about the other side of Disney, the subliminal side.. I have personally seen each of these claims.

       THE
 LION KING

After Simba has left the Pride Lands and grown up, he walks to the edge of a cliff and plops down. Out from under him swoosh a cluster of leaves; they float through the air, eventually ending up at the nose of Rafiki. While the leaves are swirling around, there's a message. Hint: It's a three-letter word with the letters x, s, and e.

Hidden Mickeys are often inserted in Disney films. They are usually nothing more than a shadow that forms the outline of mickey's head. In The Lion King, during the song "I Just Can't Wait To Be King," the animals trample over Simba on his line "Everybody look left," and hidden in this image is an outline of mickey's head. This one is pretty hard to find. Go to The Lion King Plethora for a graphic, which provides a good scan of this image, and some hints.

  THE LITTLE
MERMAID

When the Prince is marrying Ursula, in disguise with Ariel's voice, the priest has a little problem goin' on. As the bride and groom are approaching the minister, the side-profile shots of the minister reveal an alleged hard-on. You can see this one for yourself.

I also heard that the word F**K is hidden in the waves somewhere.

On the cover of The Little Mermaid video box, the castle is, well, a bit different-looking. Notice closely the very center tower of the castle. Tower or male reproductive organ? Decide for yourself. Never seen it? Well, it's right here on the internet, of course- close-up. I heard that Disney was rushing the artist to finish the cover, and that this was his last project; so he painted the famous phalic symbol as revenge.

Aladdin

When Aladdin first floats up to Jasmine's balcony on his magical carpet, Raja growls at him. Aladdin says "Gooood kitty...", then there are a couple of frames of Jasmine in her curtains, then Aladdin says "Down kitty..." Listen closely, and you'll hear something quite out-of-the-ordinary.

Who framed
ROGER RABBIT

During the scene in which Jessica Rabbit is riding through Toon Town with Bob Hoskins in an animated cab, they run into a lamp post. Jessica and Hoskins are both thrown from the car, and Jessica lands spinning, which causes her dress to hike up. For a few frames, her underwear supposedly disappears, revealing Jessica's unclothed nether regions.

In scene at the beginning of the film, Baby Herman flips the camera off just before jumping underneath the skirt and re-emerging with a spot of drool on his upper lip.

ALICE
in WONDERLAND

It is rumored (and obvious) that the writer/creator/artists/whoever of this movie were eating all of their vegetables, regularly. This is by far the strangest Disney movie (and the best to watch if you're eating YOUR veggies), with it's crazy plot and ring-blowing caterpillar.

FANTASIA

It is also a rumor that during the making of this film, the whole animation team was on acid and had simply translated their visions to cartoons. The problem with this is that Fantasia was first released in 1941, still well before the LSD experiments by psychologists during the '50's and amateurs during the '60's.
