Bob Ollinger's Shotgun, Billy the Kid's Rifle, and the Actual Gun That Killed Him

These are photos of Bob Ollinger's famous Whitney 10-guage double barrel shotgun, Billy the Kid's 1873 Winchester rifle, and Pat Garrett's .44 colt revolver that he killed Billy the Kid with on the night of July 14, 1881. The shotgun is the very same one that Billy the Kid shot Bob Ollinger with during his escape from the Lincoln County courthouse on April 28, 1881. Be sure and notice that the wooden stock of the gun has been wired back together, because after Billy shot Ollinger he broke it. The Winchester rifle was supposedly taken from the Kid's belongings by sheriff Pat Garrett after he was killed on July 14, 1881. All of these guns are owned by a private collector.
