At first I didnt want to attend the concert @ my church, but my mom talked me into it. She told me I might enjoy. Turns out, I did! When we got there, she told me to go to the restroom to do something and there was Lori fixing herself up and we started talking about her curling iron. I thought that was pretty neat that her & I was started talking. Well, my family & I last my cousin the same way Lori last her dad & uncle, suscide. He was 22 yrs old when he died. Sept 19, 2004 was a yr he had killed himself. When yall played " I could only imagine", we just started crying. They played that song @ his funeral. He killed himself on his nephew's 1st birthday. I just wanted to tell yall that I really enjoyed it.

Hi, hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving, we went to Roswell, tried to see Bobby aan Vivian, but didn't catch them. Back in Carlsbad, friends of our family, need prayer. Officer Kym Redman and Officer Eric Jameson were shot while on duty, Kym's husband is a blessed vocalist who sings only for the Lord. Their daughter graduated from the Christian school with our son Dan.(they even dated for awhile in high school.) Kym was shot 5 times and Eric 2 times. Eric is doing well, Kym is having complications and last we heard is jaundiced. Thanks so much, be careful out there on the road. Miss ya all! Deb and family!!! P.S. Lori, I found you some clothes!!! My daughter, Bobbi Brown gave me y'all CD, Wanted. Great CD, but most of all I was truly blown away with the steel guitar in the instrumental background on Ace in the Hole, When the World Runs Out of Parties, I Have a Bridge, and Come to Me. I wanted to thank you for the tremendous blessing you provided for me at your service in Otis, NM. My friend, Shalah and I attended the service while visiting the Carlsbad area. My husband left me and my children a week before Christmas for another woman and I had been "Drowning in Shallow Water." I went to Carlsbad to get away from the situation and get re-focused. During your service, especially during that song, I realized that I was struggling so much because I was not leaving my situation in the Lord's hands, as I had done previously. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to you for ministering to me through your songs. You have helped me to give my troubles back to God and to focus on the many blessings in my life, like my children, friends, and family. Words cannot describe my thoughts and feelings. Thank you, although not creative, is what I want to say. Also, I would like to try to get you all to come to the mountains of Ruidoso to our church, Angus Nazarene Chuch. Greetings from the mountains! I wanted to drop you a note and thank you for your obedience to God in your ministry. I had the blessing of attending Otis Baptist Church this past weekend, while visiting the Carlsbad area. Your message in song and sharing ministered to all of us. My sons were very impressed with your music and my oldest son was talking about your great faith to step out and travel with your music like that. God spoke to us all in different ways and it was so nice to talk with each other about what God was working on with us through your ministry. I know that you probably hear these things often enough, but being raised a missionaries child I also know that people tend to assume everyone else has been sharing these things. Sometimes it ends up being heard far too seldom. While I know that you are not "in it for personal glory", I also know that it is nice to know that what you are doing is productive and appreciated.
