In 1899 da streets a' New York City echoed wit da voices a' newsies, peddlin da newspapers a' Joseph Pulitzer, William Randolph Hearst, and other giants a' newspaper woild. On every corner ya saw'em carryin da banner, bringin ya da news for a penny a pape. Poor orphans an runaways, da newsies were a ragged army witout a leader, until one day, all dat changed...
How did it all change ya ask? Well da strike changed some a' it, and we changed da rest. Hi! Were da newsgoils a' Manhattan, otherwise known as Manhattans goils. our rants - this is where some of us are going to post our complaints, about everything, mostly newsies. Most of them are probably going to be completely unnecessary, hence the name, rants. And as of just recently, this is also going to be where we post any sort of misc. not quite story, or anything funny, or anything like that that we have.
other stories - This is a new, somewhat experimental section that has in it, non-Lodging House stories, they're newsie fan-fic of course, but they don't involve the Lodging House, so if you have something you want to post here, send it to us at manhattanspage@yahoo.com and we'll post it!

Drunk Driving Ribbon -This is an anti drunk driving ribbon, inspired by the incident with Curls. Please take it and put it up on your page, or make one like it and put it up on your page or something. And you don't have to, but if you take it, I'd appreciate it if you told me, cause I'd like to know that I'm not alone in this mini-movement.
