The Association has been created to foster awareness of the job the soldiers of the Pipes and Drums perform and to provide an online meeting place for ex serving members.
Welcome, The 5th/7th Battalion (Mechanized) The Royal Australian Regiment was a Mechanized Infantry unit created by the linking of the 5th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment and the 7th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment on 3rd December 1973. Pipes And Drums was a small but important part of the history and traditions of the Tiger Battalion until it's delinking in 2006.
