I fell in love with Annie the first time I saw her as a 4 week old puppy. She was the first of 6 in her litter of 11 to finish her championship. (Two more were only needing a major when their owner passed away.) Her beautiful front and flawless movement helped her to defeat BIS, SBIS, and Group Winners along the way. Annie is a Breed winner both in the ring and on the field.
Annie introduced us to the world of dog show conformation and became a wonderful foundation for us.
3-30-1997 (Easter Sunday) Annie whelped a litter of 1 sired by Ch Oakhurst Midas Touch. Esprit's Passion Play SC (Zoe)is pointed and loved lure coursing. Zoe was the resident "Fun Police" here for 16 1/2 years, making sure all the kids learned manners and noone ran too fast in the yard! Zoe's daughter, Quila, sired by Ch Esprit Catch A Rising Star SC, is following in her footsteps and LOVES to chase the bunny!
2-01-1999 Annie whelped the "Las Vegas Shows" litter of 5 sired by Multi SBIS Ch. Chelsea Drakkar of Oxford JC FCh ROMX Ch Esprit Spellbound and Ch Esprit Catch A Rising Star both finished with Supported entry 5pt majors.The boys were a multiple Best in Show Brace, including Best Brace at the AWC National Specialty!. Ch Esprit's Mystere finished with 4 majors in just a few months of showing - on 3 different occasions one of her brothers was also awarded Winner's Dog
3-25-2001 Annie whelped the "Big Band Litter" of 6 sired by SBIS Ch. Festiva's Knickerbocker ROMX. Ch Esprit Dreaming Out Loud (the only male) finished his title with 4 majors and 3 BOB's at 15 mos of age. Ch Esprit Sunrise Serenade was the first of the 5 girls to complete her Championship title. Ch. Esprit Sweet Georgia Brown completed her title with 3 majors. Esprit Moonlight Serenade had 14 points including 2 5pt majors - the first a Supported Entry win with 51 bitches! Esprit This Joint Is Jumpin' SC was also pointed. A leg injury ended her show and coursing careers :-). Esprit String of Pearls was pointed and loved her life in North Carolina with her co-owners.
7-16-2003 Annie whelped the "Medieval" litter of 4 sired by Ch Khiva's Highest Accolade. With so many wonderful Annie daughters we decided to keep a boy, Ch Esprit Dark Knight, from her last litter. Handsome as they come, Lance was a standout from the moment he could walk. He joined 1/2 brothers Riley & Max with his own AWC Supported Entry 5 point major.
