Rory played Lucas in the movie. In the beggining of the movie, while closing the store for Joe, Lucas found papers and pictures of Music Town. He read them and found out that Empire Records was going to be turned into on eof the many Music Town stores. To try to fix the problem, he gambled with the stores closing money. He lost. Throughout the movie, you can see that Lucas is very philosophical. Some of the things he says are pretty strange. He was the store manager at Empire and was very good at chasing shoplifters. He caught the one and only Warren trying to steal CDs. At the end of the movie, when everything turned out basically perfect, Lucas acted as if he knew it would turn out fine all along. And strangely enough i wouldnt doubt it if he did know it was goign to turn out perfect.
