Ah, the home team. One of the few hockey teams that’s name doesn’t end in s. Cool huh? We’ve had our hard times, but we’ve had good ones too. I’ve always stuck by my buddies!!
The first time we ever made it into the play-offs, we made it all the way to the quarter finals when people thought we wouldn’t make it past first round. We can pull off amasing things once in a while.
I’m apart of the Crunch Corps which supports these guys all the way! We have little parties for them, rallies, and road trips. It’s a great way to get to know the guys a little better.
All of the players are great. They’re out in the community a lot. The have the annual Crunch At Your Service dinner where they raise money for organizations by revealing amasing talents we never knew hockey players had. They go to children hospitals to cheer up kids, and they’re always kinda to the fans, taking time aside to talk to them, give out signatures and care.
I’d like to dedicate a special section to Darren Sinclair who has just been the best to my dad. My dad must be one of his biggest fans and Darren would always stop and talk to him. He’s one of the nicest guys I know, and I’ll never forget him for that.
I also have my favorites...but I can barely mention them all, Matt Ruchty, Domenic Pittis, Paul Ferone, Bert Robertson, Lubamir Vaic, Serge Aubin, Jean-Sebastien Aubin, Dave Roche, Brian Bonin, and the list goes on and on. If I didn’t mention one of you sorry! I love you all!!
Now the bad news.....this year. Yeah, we really suck...and in my opinion it's not the players fault. We have some great talent on our team...if only we knew how to use it!! We've set a couple records...most goals scored in one period (against us of course)...longest losing streak. OY! I still stick behind our team though!
