"I thought you would want to stick around so I rented a home for us, and I called Max to let him know what was happening and to bring freeway up."

"I love you and thank you for being so wonderful. I wonder if freeway could be of some help with Janelle too I'll have to ask the Dr. when I go to visit tomorrow."

"It can't hurt to try, and if she is afraid of men then maybe bringing a dog in occasionally will help. I love giving you whatever you want."

Jennifer leans over to kiss Jonathan then relaxes against the seat to rest.

As they reached the house Jennifer said, "I think I could sleep for a week I'm so tired but the first thing on my list will be to take a long hot shower. Then I would really enjoy one of your famous backrubs."

Jonathan grins at her and replies "sure thing sweetheart as long as I can hold you for the rest of the day."

"Sounds great to me. I missed you so much this past week, but Janelle needed me to be there for her much more."

"That's very true about Janelle needing someone, and she couldn't have picked a better person to cling to in my opinion."

"Why thank you darling, now will you show me around the house before I take my shower?"

Jonathan then proceeded to show Jennifer around the house ending at the master bedroom and connecting bath. "Here's the shower now while you soak I'll run to the kitchen and fix a tray of fresh fruits to munch on."

"Mmm sounds wonderful but don't forget my backrub darling."

"I won't forget, see you in a little while now scoot and take your shower before I decide to help you out of those clothes."

Jennifer's eyes light up and she smiles and says "that sounds even better want to join me in my shower?"

"I would love to darling, but you need to rest first it's been a long tiring week for you and I won't make love to you until you're rested so you can really enjoy it."

"Sounds very promising but I'll wait. I am really tired at the moment."

Jennifer starts undressing as she heads for the shower. After watching a few minutes Jonathan goes down to the kitchen to prepare a tray of fruit for Jennifer to eat after her shower. When Jonathan arrives back into the bedroom he starts arranging everything just so for Jennifer's massage.

When Jennifer is finally done in the shower she dries off then wraps the towel around herself tucking in the corner as she walks into the bedroom to find Jonathan standing by the bed with a towel over his arm and a big grin on his face. "Your masseuse is ready when you are."

Jennifer smiles and says "I'm always ready for one of your massages especially when it becomes more something more."

"Ah not this time maybe later though."

"Oh well I'll take what I can get right now." As she walks over to the bed and lies down on her stomach so Jonathan can start with her massage. No more than 10 minutes go by when Jonathan realizes that Jennifer is sound asleep so he lays down beside her and pulls a blanket over them then he wraps his arms around Jennifer and holds her while she sleeps. While being cuddled up to Jennifer, Jonathan finds himself getting drowsy and cuddles closer to Jennifer before falling asleep to.

Several hours later Jennifer wakes up finding herself wrapped in Jonathan's arms so she rolls over toward Jonathan and finds he had fallen a sleep to. Smiling she then decides to wake him up by caressing and kissing him. As Jonathan wakes to his wife's kisses he soon takes things into his own hands to pleasure Jennifer as well.

Much later and very satisfied Jennifer says, "Mmmm that was worth the wait, but when I'm not very happily occupied with other things I can't stop thinking about Janelle and how she got to that spot in between the time we rode to the lake and back as well as how anyone could brutalize a child like that."

"I thought of that myself so I had the police go up to look over the area and in the report they filed it said they had found a trail leading back 2-3 miles back where they found the crime scene there was evidence of her beating and being left for dead and that some how she managed to drag herself away to where we found her before she collapsed completely from her injuries."

"But how could she crawl that far? She was more dead than alive."

"They don't know that yet, it's a wonder she's still alive period from what was in the report they showed me."

"I want to see the report and the place it all happened."

"No darling it's not something you want to see, I even wish that I had not seen the report, the things they did, what she suffered at their hands it's horrible what the police have put together so far. I don't want you to see it ok."

"Ok, darling this time I'll agree with you on this because I've seen the scars that Janelle will carry for a long time to come."

The next day after showering and getting dressed in some clean clothes the Harts come down stairs for breakfast to find Max had arrived the during the night and he had breakfast waiting for them. After eating Jennifer suggests they stop at a florist shop to pick up a gift for Janelle.

As they arrive at the hospital Jennifer says "Jonathan I know this is hard but you'll have to stay out in the hallway while I go into see Janelle and find out how she's doing today ok."

"Ok darling I can watch from the window here maybe someday I can come in with you but I know it's too soon right now."

"Thank you for understanding, I love you so very much." Jennifer then leans into Jonathan for a kiss being very careful to not crush the flowers that she picked up for Janelle. Jennifer then turns and walks into the room to visit Janelle as she had promised.

"Good morning Janelle I'm back just like I promised, I also brought you some flowers, they smell so nice would you like to smell them." Jennifer holds the flowers down in front of Janelle so she can smell the flowers. Then she places them on the table nearby. "So how are you today? Is there any chance you'll open those eyes today?" Looking at the nurse who then shakes her head no. "Well maybe tomorrow. So what shall we talk about today? I know how about I tell you about my work with wildlife preservation and how I got involved in it."

So Jennifer spends the next several hours telling Janelle all about her involvement with wildlife preservation and what is being done to keep the wildlife from extinction. When Jennifer realizes the time she says "Well I guess it's time for me to leave now but I'll be back again tomorrow and I'll bring you another present to." Jennifer then leans down and whispers in Janelle's ear I love you and I hope you wake up soon I want to see what those beautiful blue eyes look like when you're behind them." Then Jennifer turns her head to place a kiss on Janelle's cheek before leaving the room and slipping into Jonathan's arms for a comforting hug and kiss.
