From the Photobook of Jeremy Phelps...
This one was taken the same night as the photo on the main NIDA page. John
Shaft, Hulk Hogan, and Wilford Brimley all decided to stop by St. Bonaventure's
Shay Residence Hall, Room 304, to drink some Natural Ice. Jeremy was lucky
enough to snap this one before the party dissipated. Three cheers for Natural
Ice!
This one takes me back...After accepting the role as a member of the A Team,
Mr. T and I suffered a falling out. Immediately following the filming of
the first episode, Mr. T attempted to run me over with the A Team van.
While inebriated I let slip
a few comments about his mohawk and his gratuitous use of the word "fool".
The final straw, however, was a remark I made regarding jewelry and how it
made men look effeminate. I didn't have time to take back the ill-fated
comment made
in my drunken state before I was hurled from the van. Determined to kill me,
Mr. T made a u-turn and sped after my unconscious body. Luckily, Murdock was
also a Natural Ice drinker and diverted Mr. T's attention long enough to
swerve the A Team van out of my way.
Jeremy snapped this photo after Lynyrd Skynyrd performed their legendary
Dallas concert. I wasn't supposed to be in this picture, but disguised as
a Southern-fried Hick sporting a Confederate flag I snuck in to the picture.
I was able to shed my redneck attire and lift my can of Natural Ice just before
the picture was taken, and then depart immediately afterwards with no one the
wiser.
Despite their reputation,
I found those boys from the Deep South to be quite wholesome and their company
thouroughly enjoyable.
Here Wilford Brimley flexes after downing a case of Natural Ice. Several
attempts were made to stop Mr. Brimley from consuming the whole case, but
he only waved them off, continuously repeating the phrase: "Training, Prayers,
and Vitamins." Whether this was some reference to the muscle enhancing
powers of Natural Ice or not, I'm not sure.
