I Passed!!! My road test, that is. :-) I am now officially a licensed driver. Well, junior license. But still! I can't believe I passed. From the very start I was sure I failed because I got all flustered when she asked me to turn into this road that was like two feet away, so I screwed it up a little. And then I screwed up some other things too- I had to parallel park twice, and my three point turn turned into a five point turn, but she passed me because none of the mistakes I made were unsafe, they were just stuff that needed more practice. It was very cool. :-)

Afterwards, me and my dad went to my mom's work to tell her, and then we came home, picked up Henry (who sat in the front seat this time, and went to dairy queen to celebrate. Then I took Henry and my dad home and went on my first ever solo drive (around the yard doesn't count) and went to the grocery store to get the stuff on the list. :-) It was fun. Tomorrow I'm going to actually drive myself to my class, so I won't have to worry about waiting if the class lets out early and that'll be great. I think that'll be the best part- knowing I can leave when I want to leave.

In my family, almost all the cousins are really close in age, within a couple of years, for the most part, although there are kind of these clusters of kids who are all the same age. In my cluster, the only cousins old enough to drive are me, Terry, Michelle, and April, and for driving Terry doesn't count because he lives in a different state which has different laws (he could get his permit when he was 15, I had to wait till 16) but Michelle and April both failed their first test, and I passed mine, and I think that's cool. :-) Of course they both talk about who the tester was, like it makes a huge difference.. maybe it does... and I think they both had a different tester than me. But April failed because she didn't yield at a yield sign, and anyone would have failed her for that. So it's cool. I love being the first... even though in this case there are all kinds of "not countings" to make me first, still, I love to be first. :-)

Anyway, I would really love some feedback about the new homepage layout thingy I developed. I think it really needs a graphic, which I might go search for now, but other than that, what do you guys all thing? I think it's an improvement from the old one, but I haven't decided what I really think yet...

Oh well, I have nothing more to write, so I'll see y'all tomorrow. :-)
