Thank you for visiting LOW PROFILE RACING AUTO CLUB (LPR). LPR is based in Queens, New York, USA.
We were established in 1996. Our club has a varity of cars. We do not specifically represent import cars only. We are not the fastest or the best but we do our share of representing on the streets of NYC. As time passes we will hopefully make our name known to most.
UPDATE 2008/2009: We currently have changed our name to PSI Builders. A lot has changed since 1996. With all the street wars out their and all the hype from Fast and Furios we decided to open a shop to build performance cars for customers. We opened our first shop with the help of Pie and Kevins experience to build the name. As business picked up they decided to relocate to a better facility. Currently located in Long Island. They continue to run the operations under the new name PSI Builders. Faithful customers have followed us to our new location and we have also gained new clients in the local area.
We understand the financial situation of the growing youths that want powerful cars and we try to accomodate them. We were once the backyard inexperienced street race hungry enthusiast at one time or another. So we know what it is like. But we also have a business to run and overheads to pay. So there is mutual understanding between customers and friends.
We don't street race as much, but spend more time building cars for people who do. We have no control of what you do with your personal vehicle. We do not feel it is legal but it is the root history of what drag racing came from. As we get older the next generation boomers take over the scene and continue the legacy. I don't think you will ever be able to stop street racing. Its an addiction that only gets worst.
