Laura's Tribute to Corky Thatcher
Corky Thatcher is probably the coolest guy there is. He is awesome in every way. A lot of people like to call him by his real name, Chris Burke, but I find it easier to just call him Corky. I have been a Corky fan for about 4 years now. I first saw Corky in the ever-popular show "Life Goes On". Here is a picture of Corky and his family from the show "Life Goes On":
Here are some reasons that I think Corky Thatcher is the best:
His name is Corky
He has Down Syndrome
In case you can't tell, I am a huge fan of Corky. I also have a friend named Kelley who is a huge friend of Corky too. A few years ago we got together and wrote a rap song about Corky. Here is an excerpt from "The Corky Rap", by Laura Sullivan and Kelley Sheldon.
The Corky Rap
My name's Corky Thatcher
I have a red bike
My dad won't let me ride it so I sneak out at night.
I have a dog named Arnold
He pees on the floor
I used to lick it up, but not anymore
I have a friend named Josh who used to go to my school
But he moved away cuz he was too cool

I know I am stupid but I do not care

We have 3 more verses that we wrote that I might decide to add on to this page, but for now I'll just stick to verse 1 and the chorus.
Kelley and I aren't the only one's who know how to sing. We know another guy who can sing too. You guessed it! Corky Thatcher! Corky Thatcher goes around to different places and sings songs. Here is a picture of Corky with some people that he sang songs with in Wisconsin:
