Opening Night

When I first decided to see this show, I had no idea what it would be like or how I should expect it to be, since I had never heard anything about it or seen the movie. From the minute I sat down and heard Joe Machota begin to sing "Footloose", I knew I would love this show. He has an awesome voice. I consider him to be very talented. The rest of the cast members were also very energetic.
All of the songs in the show were performed very well. My favorites that evening were "Footloose", "I Can't Stand Still", "Somebody's Eyes", and "Can You Find It In Your Heart?". Those all stood out because everyone seemed very into the show.
The best cast member, according to me, is Joe Machota. This boy is just so awesome, and a real sweetie. Niki Scalera has this awesome voice. I thought she did an okay job. I wasn't keen on some of the way her dialogue was said, but the singing made up for it. Eileen Barnett (Vi Moore) was a great mother...so was Marsha Waterbury (EthelMcCormack). All of the cast is very talented!
For this show, I had fairly decent seats. I was in row G, 51. The row was awesome...but the seat was 3 from the left. It still made the show awesome!

This time, I liked the show a whole lot more! What made it totally awesome was how I was in the first row, center. {CC, 9} I swear, that has to be the best seat in the house! Everyone was so much better this evening...everyone was awesome! "Let's Hear It For The Boy" turned out to be my favorite song that evening. Stephanie St. James (Rusty) is so funny! She's a very good actress. That evening, I also enjoyed Niki Scalera's performance of Ariel a lot more. She did better w/ the acting that evening. Matthew Morrison (Chuck Cranston) really plays towards the audience well. He's so awesome! :) He's very nice, too.
After the performance, I went to the stage door and got a couple of autographs. The cast is all so sweet!

Closing Matinee

This show was so great...I was a little sad because I knew it would be my last time seeing the show for a while. I'm not able to make it up to LA....which is so weird because I saw it 3 times in 1 week here and I can't even see it once in the 2 weeks that it is there! That is just not fair....
This show I had seat 10 in row B. It was pretty good, too. I still think that CC 9 rules! :)
I paid close attention to all of the show this time. It is truly an awesome show! If you haven't see it, go out and do it! If I could, I would see it all the time!
