"Joyce oh my guess what !?!",Regina shrieked.
Joyce was washing the plates.She looked up annoyed at Regina.
"What !!!",Joyce spat out annoyed.
"You know uh Darren the driver he asked me out !!!",Regina said dancing around the kitchen.
Joyce laughed at Regina's crazy ways,but she was extremely happy for her friend,she felt a bit jealous since Joyce had never had a boyfriend ever since she started working at the Carter's household.She wanted to leave but she didn't have any place to go to,so she stayed,she would save some money and would just go somewhere else away from here.
Trudy walked into the kitchen and pointed Regina to leave.
"Okay Joyce,Madamn.Carter and everyone else awaits for you in the study",Trudy said.
Joyce put the dishes into the cupboard and smoothed down her frizzled hair,she walked into the study and bowed down her head.
"Yes Madamn.Carter,Sir.Robert,what do you need ?",Joyce asked.
"Listen up girl now get this straight threw that head of yours",Madamn.Carter said pointing her finger at Joyce's head.
"Don't touch me",Joyce said threw gritted teeth.
She had,had it with people who abused of her mentally and physically and Madamn.Carter abused her in both ways she had never done anything to upset her except maybe call Sir.Nickolas assol,but she lashed her and made her bleed.
Madamn.Carter slapped her right across the head.
Sir.Nickolas bursted in threw the french doors.
"Leave her ALONE !",Sir.Nickolas shouted angrily.
Tears streamed down Joyce's cheeks no not because of what Madamn.Carter had just done but because she remember the way her father used to hurt physically and emotionally,she had gone threw alot when she was a small child.
"Nickolas get out of here !",Madamn.Carter yelled at him.
"No mother,she has not done anything to you so leave her alone,let her do her job UNDERSTOOD !",Sir.Nickolas yelled back.
Madamn.Carter nodded defeated for once in her life.
"Get out Joyce",Sir.Robert said.
Joyca ran out of the study and ran straight to her room where she collapsed and sobbed on her bed.
