| For those coming in from the Hutch, the first major interchange on westbound 287 is coming up; that being Interstate 684. First we have to pass beneath Ridgeway Avenue in northeastern White Plains. |
| Many of I-287's overpasses are badly rusted and a couple are undergoing extensive rehabilitation probably necessitated more by abject neglect than simple wear and tear. For a highway covered by both a State Thruway Authority and Interstate funding, that's a pretty sorry state of affairs. Shot 10/99. |
