We're just east of the gloomy 99th St. walkbridge. This
is just about the last bastion of center median twinlamp bigloops
on the westernmost stretch of the LIE. Just over the horizon the
bigloops yield to their trussarmed elders for the Flushing Meadow
run. The Forest Hills Housing project looms in the distance and
the overhead signs herald the coming major interchanges.
For all you do-it-yourselfers, who are like kids in a toy store
when you're in a hardware store, a giant 24 hour Home Depot is
located just off College Point Blvd, a few blocks north of it's
LIE intersection.
