1. Have you ever seen the scar on Lance's left eye? He got it in the sixth grade when he and his cousin were pretending they were American Gladiators.

2. Joey seeks all things Superman.

3. Talk about lucky: The reason JC auditioned for The Mickey Mouse Club was because, he says, "My mom read about it in the paper and I didn't feel like going to school, so I went."

4. Justin hasn't always been comfortable with his curly hair. He used to want to straighten it--can you believe it?

5. Less is more when it comes to crowning Chris' pizzas. He's a cheese-only type of guy.

6. Brothers in ink: Justin, Lance, Joey, and Chris all trekked to the tattoo shop and got fiery flame tats to symbolize thier 'N SYNC status.

7. The crooner who's most worried about the computer breakdown rumored to happen at the coming of the millennium is JC.

1. Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez first met as cast members of The Mickey Mouse Club.

2. Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone, Jr. became friends as co-workers at Universal Studios theme park.

3. Joey knew JC through a mutual friend and the four guys hooked up and began rehearsing together.

4. As a quartet they put together their own demo tape and video and shopped it around in search of a record contract.

5. JC, Justin, Joey, and Chris found themselves a manager, Johnny Wright, a well known music industry veteran who's also worked with the BSBs and Aaron Carter.

6. Lance Bass was the last member to join the group. He made the connection because he and Justin had the same vocal coach.

14. 'N SYNC became an overnight success in Germany and Austria and before they even released the album there, they had to hire bodyguards to get around in those countries.

15. After winning over pop music fans in Great Britain, 'N SYNC promoted their record in Asia, South Africa and Mexico before finally coming back to the U.S. at the end of 1997.

32. The 'N SYNC guys consider "Forever Young" to be their most personal song because it's about their early days and all their hard work and persistence that went into getting discovered.

33. When 'N SYNC was in Disney World to record their In Concert special for the Disney Channel, the guys brought some of their family members along. During down time, they checked out the rides and attractions with thier folks and sibs.

34. When the special aired in July, it got such good ratings that the Disney Channel aired it several more times over the summer. Meanwhile RCA Records credits that special for boosting sales of 'N SYNC's debut album!

35. Although Mariah Carey, Matchbox 20, and Third Eye Blind all performed at Z-100's Z-Day benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall last summer, it was 'N SYNC who whipped the crowd into a frenzy!

*N SYNC*

1. Justin’s mom, Lynn, came up with the groups name. An acronym featuring the last letter of each guys’ first name, with a little cheating since Lance becomes Lansten (not his real name). The break down JustiN, ChriS, JoeY, LansteN, and JC.

2. Speaking of names, here’s what you will find on the guy’s birth certificates. James Lance Bass, Joshua Scott Chasez, Joesph Anothy Fatone Jr., Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick, Justin Randall Timberlake.

3. Lance’s favorite singer is country legend Garth Brooks. This is not too surprising considering Lance is actually a counrty boy himself (he was born in Mississippi). Infact, after Lance saw Garth perform in concert, he decided he wanted to be a performer too.

4. On *N Sync’s first demo tape, the group covered the classic Beetles tune "We Will Work It Out."

5. Chris actually penned the lyrics to "Giddy Up," the show stopping song that raps up *N Sync’s debut US album.

6. JC collects Hard Rock cafe menus from all over the world, including one’s from *N Sync overseas tour stops in Malaysia, England, France, and Japan.

7. Lance recently had a guest star role on an episode of the WB television drama "7th Heaven."

8. Justin does between 150 to 200 push-ups each day. That must be how this man keeps his bod so buff.

9. The guys have two pre-shows results, first they toss around a hackey sack to get warmed up. Then they gather for a group prayer and hug with their super-close-knit posse of secrity guys and the road crew.

10. Before Lance actually joined the group, and the guys became *N Sync, there was actually another guy singing in his place. Unfortunately for him (and forunately for Lance !) he could commit to the long rehersal hours and dedication the group needed, so he quit. (You know he’s kicking himself now !)

13. *N Sync’s first performance was at the first show-case at Walt Disney’s World’s Pleasure Island in October 1995.

14. Joey has had small roles in two films, "Once Upon A Time In America," and, "Matinee." He also guest-starred on the short-lived TV series "seaQuest DSV."

15. Joey and JC attended Dr. Phillips High School, a performing arts school in the Orlando area.

16. You probably won’t see many slithering serpents in up-coming *N Sync videos becuase JC and Justin hate snakes !

20. Chris owns his own music and visual art production company, FuManSkeeto, which has it’s own clothing line. Lance’s ex-girlfriend, "Boy Meets World," star Danielle Fishel is FuManSkeeto’s spokesperson.

21. Justin founded the Justin Timberlake Foundation to improve the art education in American schools. He even met with President Clinton and the First Lady Hilary Rodham Clinton, to improve his extraordinary efforts.

22. Check out these boys’ battle wounds : Lance got his scar over his left eye in 6th grade, when he and his cousin were pretending to be American Gladiators. 34. Justin starred in The Wonderful World of Disney feature "Janine and Alex : Cover Girls," which filmed in Toronto in 1999 and aired on ABC in March 2000.

35. Lance once toured with the United Sates’ No. 1 show choir, the Mississippi Show Stoppers.

36. Joey had a chilhood crush on actress Demi Moore.

37. JC’s most popular character on "The Mickey Mouse Club" was Clarence "Wipeout" Adams, a hilarious dude with surfer attitude.

38. Lance is taking correspondence courses from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (same as Britney Spears). His major ? Business administration.

39. Remember *N Sync’s big break, the group’s "In Concert" special for the Disney Channel ? It was actually supposed to be the Backstreet Boys’ big night but that group backed out, paving the way for *N Sync to skyrocket to superstar status.

40. Ever catch a glimpse of the Superman chain Joey sports, or the tattoo ib his right ankle ? It’s because he’s a freak for the Man of Steel. He collects tons of superhero memorabilia, including his fave – a vinyl Superman record album from the 60s. Joey ever has been known to wear Superman T-Shirts and jerseys on stage that had been given to him by fans only a few minutes earlier !

41. Lance and Chris are both afraid of heights, but both of them faced their fears to fly out over the screaming crowds during the song "Sailing" and *N Sync’s "Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now" tour.

42. The other guys named Lance "Scoop" or "Stealth" for the way this seemingly shy guy works the ladies.

43. Joey sang in "The Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue" at Universal Studios Florida. Maybe you caught his in his werewolf wear or vampire gear during a family vacation.

44. Chris loves to surf. Once (and we’re definetly not recommending it), he even surfed off the Florida coast during a strong hurricane !

45. Chris is the only guy in the group with a college degree, an Associate of Arts.

46. Lance loves butter pecan ice cream, while Chris prefers Ben and Jerry’s "Chubby Hubby."

47. Justin was elected president of his middle school’s student council.

48. Joey’s helping finance and create an acting handbook with his former acting coach, Karen Rugerio.

49. Chris also worked at Universal Studios Florida. He sang in a cappella doo-wop group, The Hollywood Hightones, for more than 3 years.
