We hope that when you walk through our doors you'll feel welcomed in person as well. We offer something for everybody, whether you are a career person, homemaker, student, or retired person, shy or outgoing. And if you are a beginning or experienced speaker, whether low-key or highly motivated - at Toastmasters not only will you improve your communication and listening skills, but your leadership dexterity will also be enhanced.

Our relaxed, laid-back atmosphere provides a non-threatening environment in which members feel safe in attempting challenging new projects and expanding their abilities. We also have a mentoring program in effect which supports and guides new members.

In all of our meetings, you will find numerous opportunities for speaking and presenting. Furthermore, Toastmasters is unique among major speaking organizations in that we provide evaluations and other useful feedback for all of our speakers. So you have a chance to grow with every single speaking assignment.

In addition to regular meetings, we hold special activities which include contests, joint meetings, district conferences twice a year, and community service activities. The primary characteristic of Rockland Sunrise Toastmasters is: it is fun!
