Gestation: 3-3 1/2 months
Litter size: up to 6 cubs but usually 3-4

Lifestyle
Habits: the male is solitary. Females live in family units. Mostly nocturnal
Diet: deer, boar, elk, lynx, bear; also smaller prey such as fish, rabbits, and hares
Lifespan: up to 35 years

  • During the harsh winter, the tiger's coat loses some color to help blend in with it's snowy habitat.

  • They are endagered and are estimated that there are no more than 200 in the wild and the same in captivity.



  • The Siberian Tiger has 2 coats, a top coat which is striped and yellowish and a white bottom coat which goes to the back legs and tail.
  • It is capable of eating over 100 lbs. of meat in one sitting.
  • The jaws of a Siberian Tiger bring instant death with one bite.
  • They have excellent binocular and color vision and it's night vision is 5 times better than humans.
  • Pricked ears funnel sounds efficently to the inner ear.
  • Siberian Tigers are found in the Amur-Ussuri region of Siberia, also in northern China and Korea.

  • The Siberian Tiger also happens to be the world's largest cat.
