Whats my Line??

On the seemly magic waters of Lake Ontario there is huge changes going on in the fishery. Although line has always been important now it's crtical for spring browns. In the spring Lake Ontario Browns are very easily spook. So that calls for light line. There are many brands of line out there but the best that works for me is Berkley's line products. Berkley makes different kinds of line for different times of the year for the big lake. The new Berkley vanish is going to be a hit "litterally". This new flurcarbon line is invisable in the water and it comes in 10 to 20 pound test. So you can use heavy line if you want to. Even if you dont want to change lines every spring and fall use this as a leader. This line will definatly improve your catches on the Lake. Especially Spring Browns. What i do in the spring is i rigg Berkley's Trilene 12lb maine line and i use 8lb seagur flucarbon as a leader. Also people like to leave the fishing poles out in the rodholders all day. That's not a good idea. The sun altraviolet rays destroy line if they are left in the sun for long periods of time. In the Summer and Fall i use Trilene 30lb Big Game to keep the fleas off the line and i use 20lb seagur flurcarbon line as a leader. Well i hope this helps some on finding the right line for yourself. good luck and good fishing!!!
