August 3rdWell I've finally made it. Oz land is fantastic so far. I am living in Bondi Beach which is a famous surfing beach all over Australia. It is in Sydney. Right now it is the winter but the weather is mild. Its about 70 F during the day but the nights can get cold. My sister Maura is visiting and we went up to Queensland last week. That was just fantastic. We went to Noosa which is on the Sunshine Coast, then we drove down to the Gold Coast and went to a place called Surfer's Paradise. That is actually the name of the town, Surfer's Paradise!! So if I wrote a postcard, Surfer's Paradise would be on the postmark. Enough about that!! We rented a car and I actually drove it. On the other side of the road. Definately a learning experience, but I didn't crash the car and I actually started getting the hang of it after awhile.This is a recent photo taken with my mate Jess. In the top one is the city of Sydney and the bottom one is the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge.
