• October 5th- Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk 9:30 am @ Clinton Square
• October 23rd- Trick er Suites @ Jamesville Elementary School
• Every Wednesday! Dance program at Jamesville Elementary School

Risk Factors for Breast Cancer- some important facts to know!

• For Women:
• getting older- the older you get the greater your risk
• having an inherited mutation in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 breast cancer genes
• family history of breast cancer
• having high breast density on a mammogram
• high bone density
• being overweight
• For Men:
• getting older
• chronic liver disorders,alcoholism, and obesity
• family members with breast cancer, especially a BRCA2 mutation
• a genetic condition such as Klinefelter's syndrome that is associated with high estrogen levels
