Rachel's Rant of the Moment

Find out what happend when a crazy white girl gets pissed off! lol, jk

Alrighty, welcome to my own personal venting space on the web. Here is where I ramble incoherently about anything I chose to, because I can! And you cant stop me! muahahah! But sometimes I actually have a point (i know, i amaze myself sometimes....) so check back to see. You might be surprized, or you may just wonder if they make a drug for whatever the hell is wrong with me.

Welcome to the second installment of Erika and Arianna's daily hell. Thats right, the people who know and love me hear this stuff from me 24/7. I am just a constaint source of entertainment to them, i guess. Hey, we all have our parts to play. Anyway, instead of just randomly bitching about w/e, I am gonna give ya'll the highlights form the United We Stand, what more can I give? concert that benifited the Sept. 11 victim's and their family's.

Wow, first of all, i gotta say, It was totally off the hook. It ended up lasting 12 hours, but my voice was gone by about hour 6. You are gonna have to get like, the highlights of the highlights cuz it was DAMN GOOD! The top 3 would have to be Aerosmith, Puffy, and *nsync, probably in that order. Yes, I said puffy. P. Diddy was not around that night,Puffy was in the house! I still love him now (u know ur good when u can change ur name to Pdiddy and still get respect) and I love the song Diddy, but I was soooo glad to have Puff Daddy bak, even if it was just for one night. Ok, but that cna be saved for another time, back to the original topic...

Areosmith was totally awesome. They had the whole crowd going. They totally rocked. To me, they are like the epitome of rockstars. If ypu saw them you'd know what I mean. To be their age and stil be able to get up on stage and rock like that, and get everyone as into it as you are, wow. It was really inspiring to see all the old legends- Aerosmith, Bette Midler, Michael Jackson, ect.- up their with todays stars- Nsync, P diddy, usher, BSB. Its something that only happens once in a while, and i feel so blessed to have been able to witness it. I honestly dont think i can explain how amazing this concert really was, but I'm gonna try. Since no one really bothers to read my ramblings, it really doesnt matter. hahaha.

ok, Billy Gilman. Wow. He is like the coolest kid ever. I wanted to run home and join his fan club or something. And his voice, damn, If JC and Mariah Carey had a kid, it would be him. I've loved his song One Voice since it came out, but when he was onstage and halfway thru stopped the music and sang accapella, that tottally got my respect. I was screaming so loud, he could probably hear me all the way from section 400. Speaking of respect, The Backstreet Boys defiately got some of mine. I never really liked them, but when they got up and sang the anthem, I was like, wait a minute, when did they learn how to sing? Even Nick can! I was shocked. I am thisclose to becomming a fan (even though drowning sux- cmon emily, u no it does!)I even have a favorite member now, AJ. haha, I never ever thought I would like them enough to have a favorite, but stranger things have happened. Wait a minute, no they haven't. Well unless you coun't the fact that I have a web site, seeing as I have zero computer skills. Im too dumb to be a computer nerd! AHHHHHH! but back to my first train of thought.....the concert kicked some major ass.

Pink was awesome. The googoo dolls...AMAZING! (but I was so sad they didn't do black ballon or name or broadway.)Bette Midler was great. She did the rose, my fave! She was sooooooo good. Train was good, Mariah was ok, but her mic wasn't picking up nething. I heard her performance on the radio later and it was actually very good, but u couldn't tell then. The equipment caused alot of problems actually, whoever donated such crappy equipment, I have a few choice, not so nice words for you. As long as I am on the not so great parts, i gotta mention the fact that usher only did one song. What the hell is that? U remind me was amazing, but he shoulda done more. I was waiting for him to do I don't know wit P. Diddy, but it didn't happen *tear* Nsync really shoulda done If only in heaven's eyes, but you cant have everything right? And I was sorta pissed when we waiter for Michael Jackson for an hour (possibly 2) and then he only did one song.

Something very strange happened durring Nsync's performance though....I couldn't take my eyes off Lance. I had the urge to run up and down the bleachers yelling "Lance can dance, Lance can DANCE!" When did this happen????? I guess at the same time he got hot and Buff! ah, there is a god!!!!!! teehee, but seriously, this is all because he did the movie. Acting does that to you. Ive said it before, and I'll say it again, acting RULES!!!!!!! When will people learn? You just don't know what your missing. I am sooooo excited, On the Line comes out friday!!!!!! yippe!!! *does a lil cheer* I have seen the trailers, and it lookes like our lil lance-y can actually act! Im sooo proud! *sigh* haha, way to get off topic Rachel....

but the guys gave a really great performance. They redid some of their coreography too, it looked awesome, and as usual they sounded great. I am starting to get a little pissed off at the fact that they can be doing a high energy dance routine and still sound perfect. Especially since I am still getting back my voice and my vocal coach is gonna kick my ass when he hears me and I will get the whole 'I only push you because you're talented' speech. I bet JC never had to listen to that, cuz he always sounds good! Dammit! Its times like tese I wonder if them being so damn good is really a blessing or a curse....

wow, that really had nothing to do with anything. I am just in random mode tonight. I guess thats what sitting home all day does to you. I was home sick today, so I think its gone to my vrain. MAybe I'll write more bout the concert when I stop sounding so doped up (which I'm not, in case u were wondering, lol) ~later! *rachel* (one of many...but by far the most interesting!)
