I am an Independent Engineer / Producer who has recorded manyLIVE RADIO REMOTE BROADCASTS in San Francisco from 1979 - 1982 . Most of these performances are of PUNK bands and some Reggae . All of the performances are directly live to 2 track tape , and they reflect the actual performances of the bands at the time . There has been no overdubbing . The tapes range from EXCELLENT to bad . I have recorded them in the various popular San Francisco and Bay Area venues , such as The Old Waldorf , : MABUHAY GARDENS(also known as the Mab , or Fab Mab)On Broadway ; Back Door ; The Stone : Fox Warfield : American Indian Center : Civic Center Park ; Tool & Die ; DEAF CLUB ; Keystone Berkeley ; Berkeley Square ; There were many other clubs to be sure , but these were the most popular with the MAB being the PREMIER PUNK VENUE . In fact , it was World Renowned!! Bands came from as far away as JAPAN , just to play at the MABUHAY .
