Steubenville Police Chief Jerry McCartney said about 30 spent shell casings were found near tha murder scene of Wisegod Allah early Saturday Morning.
Allah, of Steubenville, was found on tha sidewalk of tha 500 block of Logan Street about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
"Since we found 30 casings, unless a guy was standin there reloadin for half-an-hour, that would amount to more than one person doin tha shootin," McCartney said.
McCartney said they don't have a description of tha suspects yet, and he would appreciate anyone comin forward with leads.
McCartney said police don't have a motive yet for tha crime.
"We encourage anyone to come forward with any information, no matter how little it seems to them," McCartney said.
Tha .357 Magnum found on Allah, 27, formerly known as Grier Montgomery, had not been fired, McCartney said.
McCartney also said they don't know whether anotha incident was related. 2 hours later, a Columbus man reported to police he ahd been drivin on Seventh Street when he saw a man in dark clothin fire a gun. Tha bullet shattered his rear windshield, accordin to tha report.
