Alpha Rho Epsilon is the Columbus State Community College chapter of Phi Theta
Kappa. The purpose of the Alpha Rho Epsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Columbus
State Community College shall be the promotion of scholarship, the development of
leadership and service, and the cultivation of fellowship among qualified students of this

The Alpha Rho Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa was chartered in 1990 and has since grown
into a respected and awarded chapter. Since 1995, Alpha Rho Epsilon has achieved
Five-Star Status--the highest level awarded internationally. Members have been
named to the third team of the prestigious All-USA Academic Team and placed first team
All-Ohio Academic Team. Chapter members are invited to attend all chapter, regional,
and international events.
