Valve Core Depressor Tool
Hand installed on sample port and depresses the valve core to control
the flow of gas into the sample bottle. Machined for 1/4" (6
mm)
ID hose (3 foot length included). This tool is necessary to access any of my ports; can also be used on GM and Daimler-Chrysler
style ports.

Male Pipe Thread Fitting
The fuel sample port with pipe threaded end can be installed into any
suitable hole or fitting. The correct thread tap to use is the NPTF
type for maximum sealing capability. The use of an industrial grade
pipe thread sealant will help prevent leaks.
- Remove the cap and valve core.
- Tap the part to receive the sample port.
- Use thread sealant and assemble and tighten the fitting.
- Inspect the assembly and remove any excess sealant.
- Replace the valve core and cap.
- Test and check the assembly for leaks.

Tube Fitting Connection
The tube type fitting can be attached to a brass or steel fitting with
a suitable solder, silver solder, or brazing rod and flux. The steps
in the fitting can be trimmed to allow the best fit in the available hole.
- Remove the cap and valve core.
- Clean all connection areas, apply flux and attach.
- Allow the assembly to cool.
- Replace the valve core and the seal cap.
- Test and check the assembly for leaks.

Tee for Hose Installation
The tee type fitting can be put in a 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8
mm)
hose.
- Cut the hose.
- Insert the tee into the hose.
- Hold the fitting in place with two hose clamps.
- We recommend that you use SAE 30R9 specification hose and type
"G" Hose Clamps.
- For extra safety, a loop of wire should be added between the two
clamps.
- Cover with the cap provided to keep dirt out.
- Test and check the assembly for leaks.

Banjo Fitting
There are some fuel systems (VW, Honda, Weber, etc.) made with a
banjo fitting as the inlet.
- Check the area around the banjo bolt for clearance of the Fuel
Sample Port and acquisition fitting or fuel pressure test gauge.
- Remove the bolt and clean it of all residual fuel with a
non-flammable solvent.
- Drill a 1/4" hole in the bolt.
- Remove the valve core from the fitting.
- Silver solder a fuel sample port to the banjo bolt or tap for a 1/16"pipe thread and install the fuelport.
- Reinstall the valve core and check the assembly for leaks. Cap
to prevent dirt from entering.
- Tighten the banjo bolt into place using the head of the banjo bolt and not the fuelport.

AN (Aeroquip) Fitting
Special blue anodized aluminum adapter; Female swivel to male with 1/8
NPT in hex for fuel port (included)
- Remove any line at a male/female junction and add this connector.
- Position the fuel port at the most convenient position.
- Install the fuel port in the 1/8 NPT hole with an appropriate thread
sealer.
- Test for leaks.
