PITs, PALs, and APLs
PITs, PALs, and APLs are great leaders that help out at camp. They are also looked up to by the younger girls.
~ PIT - Entering 7th grade and 12 years old. They are PALs in training, and no previous training is required. They help out in the camp to bridge to PAL level. The fee is regular camp fee.
~ PAL - Entering 8th grade and up and 13 years or older. They are Program Aide Leaders that complete service hours under adult supervision and help out around camp. They also help train the PITs. They must complete the Program Aide Core Training and Day Camp PAL training and session training from day camp director the first year. Then they take annual session training for other years. There is no fee for PALs.
~ APL - Entering 10th grade and up and at least 15 years old. They complete service hours in a specialized area and help out around camp. They are Assistant Program Leaders. They must complete the Program Aide Core Training (as a PAL), the specialized APL training, and session training from the director the first year. There is other annual training other years. There is no fee for APLs.
